What is WATS and how do I get them?

I want to post on the ATS 9/11 Forum but recieving a prompt denying me unless i have 1 WATS point

I think it's tied in with your star and flag count. The more stars and flags you have, the higher your score. I don't know the formula.

Your W score equals to the number of posts divided by 600 + number of flags divided by 80 + number of stars divided by 170.

So just be awesome, and you'll be at 1W in no time :-)

Do not try to get a 100 wats tomorrow, just come back often and contribute, it will happen quite fast if your a productive member.

Umm.. So ATS is a popularity contest now? That's all I see this as. Any person can eventually get enough stars and flags to be able to post there with enough posts and time spent on ATS...

Stars and WATS are all messed up. The numbers right now just don't matter.
When they went to the new ATS ... it got screwed up. So ignore it.
