I saw this vid today and felt compelled to search ATS to see if it has been covered already. Didn't find it in my search, apologies if this is a repeat/ongoing topic.

This is the first and only vid I've seen that shows a 'cigar' ufo like this. The elongated object (craft?) hovers at length, seemingly discharging or ejecting smaller disc/orb shaped objects. There is considerable distance between the woman filming and the apparent ufo. In the vid you can see that there is a tripod but she apparently wasn't able to mount the camera and had to hold it[a bit shaky at points]. If this isn't a hoax, it's really stunning.

that's amazing, the debunkers will say its condensation dropping from a cloud.

Was Bill Clinton holding the cigar?

It looks pretty authentic to me. I'm no expert though, so I invite any and all theories. My train of logic wants to go with it's some sort of massive transport vessel for smaller expeditionary craft.

Interesting vid. I've seen a few like this, and all over Mexico coincidentally, where there has been craft in the air releasing orbs. I wonder what this is? Truly odd.

Let me show you how uninformed I am by using an old cliche. Aren't weather ballons long, thin, vertical, and with rounded tops? Don't they drop instrument packages? Or, perhaps, sampling air quality and dropping the sample?

The videographer has done an excellent job. But that's a column of white balloons like you might see at a car lot or shopping center.

If it were a stack of balloons wouldn't it be likely to change shape- at that altitude- with wind currents? Seems to maintain a uniform shape while discharging objects at regular intervals.

Forget the vertical 'object'...

What's that flying by in the upper left hand side at the 4:22 mark..?

7 minutes of blurry footage shot by some idiot who doesn't know how to use a camera, can't hold it steady, and inexplicably ignores the tripod sitting right next to her.

Why is it that the people who spend their lives waiting for UFOs are invariably unprepared when they appear, and mysteriously lose the ability to operate their own equipment?

I didn't see any 'orbs' being dropped by this 'mothership.' I did see the camera zooming in and out, temporarily reducing the image to a circular blur.

Perhaps it's one of the smaller craft/objects that came out of the cylinder.

I disagree with you most times when it comes to UFOs, but here I have to agree 100%!!!
There was a TRIPOD RIGHT next to the videoprapher and they didnt USE IT?
I'm calling hoax or manmade objects, no 'mothership' here folks
This is solved as far as I'm concerned

I believe she says that's an Avíon (airplane)
for reference at the 4:22 mark.

I thought the same thing until I saw the she focused the camera over the same tri-pod handle multiple times. Meaning the object it held the same position in the sky, a weather balloon would havebeen swept away by the jet stream at that altitude.

My Spanish is a little crappy, but I think she isn't using the tripod cause of the angle of the object.

Perhaps the camera has an immovable screen and it would be difficult to keep the object in frame while looking up almost 90 degrees and crouched down.

As for you people complaining about the quality, really?
Of course it gets blurry while zooming in and out, but the rest of the time its pretty still and clear. Far better than almost every other UFO video we see.

The string of balloons theory, idk. Its certainly possible, but I don't see any distinguishing features that denote separate balloons.

Personally, I would go with weather balloon. It has the shape for the most part, but who knows.
Interesting video none the less.

Dear christoker,

Thanks a lot. I really don't know anything about UFO's or analyzing videos, and I appreciate the insight.

But now you've got me wondering. How are balloons ever used? I mean if they get whipped up and down, left and right, what good are they?

See, I told you I didn't know anything.

With respect,
Charles1952

And exactly what altitude is that?
Granted it sure looks high up, but we don't know its size or distance.

I will concede thought that if it is a balloon, high altitude or not, I would expect it to move more than it did.

Like others have said, this is a bundle of balloons. And either one escapes, or it's dropping an instrument package. Either way, it looks nothing like a cigar-shaped UFO. It looks nothing like a metallic object.

It does look like balloons.

Well that was at least more interesting than the standard CGI/Drone/Weather Balloon stuff we normally get around here...

If they were prepared and delivered a disciplined footage you would be complaining about how rehearsed and pre-anticipated it appeared. I have a feeling there is a demeaning one-liner for every circumstance.

******

I cannot tell by the video how this is moving across the sky, but because of the three centroids of illumination comprised by the object, the object's static cardinal alignment, and the fact that it disappears behind the clouds, ...is it possible that this is the ISS?

Not forcing that conclusion by any means, but take a look at the three reflective surface aggregations making up the ISS.
