I've always kind of felt the western four elements was taken from the original five ,but lost something in translation .
They are valid as well ,but its not quite right somehow

I have a hard time embedding images ,because I'm on a cellphone ,so its much nicer with pictures .

yes the western elements....

Liquid, Solid, Gas, Plasma .....seems legit to me

They even went so far as to categorize 240 something of the supposed 266 parts that make up existence into an organized table, the ancients would be proud.

I was referring to Water Fire Air and Earth. The four elements invoked by witches during circle casting etc ,not the elements in the periodic table .

I was refereeing to the very obvious correlation to the actual states of matter....

Liquid = water
Solid = wood/earth

No,I got it ,but it had nothing to do with the actual elements in the OP ,or my comment about 4 vs 5 elements .
The humors like qi blood and essence ,probably correlate more closely to phases of matter ...sort of . I guess I'm just serious about the subject because its repeatedly ridiculed by the scientific community .

The five element theory is the worlds greatest treatise on body movement and interaction.
