What exactly makes me weak?
You should figure out yourself.

Lamb Lame one, make accusations for no prudence (as in you are not taking notes to make write the next great AMERICAN NOVEL) say a Paul Bowles, or a JAMES PURDY original, please dont say Truman Capote or EDGAR ALLEN POE>>>

I'd rather not let my life pass me by while I'm preparing for another that may never come.

I would like your interpretation of the meaning of this life if you care to share?

Let us break it down from the roots.

Life will bypass you as you are trying to figure its path.
Your path is negated as you are too busy trying to catch a YELLOW CAB.
The Cab was never flagged down because your initial path was not definite to destination.
You pretended life and thought the cab would recognise you before recognising it.
You were invisible and realised the destination was your declaimation or fortification of
EXISTANCE.

Materialism.

I think one should never focus on either just one of these, but on both. That way you're sure to never get it wrong...

I see your quip and I'll raise you one: I have no fear of doing things wrong as long as I get the opportunity to do them right. It's called being human, and I trust any god will understand that.

I think love should be appreciated, but why does it have to be special?

You deemed it earlier as special enough to be listed it as one of the meanings of life and I agree.

I know what you're trying to get at here, what you're trying to build up to. You want to say that the source of love, within all of us, is some sort of deity, a divine figure with its own mind and its own plan. I disagree. I disagree not only with that premise, but with your apparent belief that love has to come from somewhere other than the human mind in order to be really special and significant. I think love should be appreciated, but why does it have to be special? That means it's exclusive. Love should never be exclusive. I get the feeling that associating with humans tends to decrease the value of certain ideas or properties, in your mind. Like the human condition spoils anything it touches, so all the best things have to come from somewhere else. Why is that? Do you believe humans are worthless worms? Do you believe we are all born evil? Do you think we are the fleshly product of something so inherently abhorrent that we ourselves cannot hope to be any better? People who think like that really sadden me. They aren't content with being human unless they have something better to look forward to. They basically disdain the human form in all of its aspects. We are fit for nothing except furthering that which is actually worthy of existing.

Made in the Image, though in a 'fallen' spiritual state on this earth prey to influences of spiritual wickedness that is not of the Ways 'above'. Welcome to the world of duality, with the Law of Opposition planted firmly within this earthly place.

In the Image, we could never be born evil or be likened to worms and that opportunity for 'furthering' (spiritually evolving) is exactly what the Good Spirit is hoping we do with Instruction, Guidance and Calling, although we have our role to play, so to speak, for our will in deed is very powerful to what we invite into our pathway wide or narrow in choosing.

If any god believes that we are unworthy, right there, that god should be cast out and rejected as the arrogant and shallow hypocrite it is.

Our Creator gives us the opportunity for soul evolution. The question should be are we worthy for such? We have been Given Instruction on how to be Delivered from our errant nature, well short of that state of True Love so valued within, demonstrated in Life by the Holy Messiah Sent as example of Righteous Living toward the 'mansions' evolved beyond this short worldly life.

We are not tools. We are not pawns. And I would hate to see us shrink beneath the iron fist of a tyrant. We are worth more than that.

We are already under a tyranny and the noose of such is only going to tighten. Believe it, for there are many willing pawns serving the world structure with their will power that will see to such irregardless of 'religion' per se---and that is what is Truly saddening.

Ah, but I never said the meaning of life was special, did I? The meaning of life is not exclusive. It's not some secret knowledge that you have to pay an eye to know. It's as simple as finding something that makes you happy, something that makes you glad to be alive. And keep finding it. Keep enjoying it. And while you're at it, share it.

I don't understand what's so bad about what we are right now. I think it's very unhealthy to see the human condition as something that's "not good enough". To want to be better than human is, in my mind, denigrating. It keeps you from ever being happy with what you have. It keeps you from ever appreciating what there is to learn from being a human. Apparently, being human is as bad as being a leper. I think that sort of mentality is wrong.

A tyranny of what? Whose tyranny? And why is it saddening?

I, Pinocchio, Do Not Question The Existence Of God. I See His "MERCY!" Everyday...
I Don't Look For It... But It's There. Everytime I Hear Her Voice, Saying My Name To Get My Attention. Everytime She Looks Into My Eyes. Everytime Her Wits And Her Charm Are Unleashed. When Her Soft Voice Falls Upon My Ears Like The Songs Of Absolution... I Beckon For More. When She Entreats Me To The Comforts Of A Meal With Her As My Host. When She Burns With Passion For Her Own Will To Prosper... Rising In The Day And Enduring Till The Night. When She Responds To My Call... A Name I Call Music... The Thing I Know I Will Never Forget. The Awesome Power Of Her Nakedness And Its Marvelous Perfection And Beauty. Desirable. A Beauty Of Legend And Myth. To See And Behold The Masterpiece Of A Generous God. A Most Gracious Gift. One She Chooses To Give Me. To Know Her As Men Were Made To Know... That My Lust Is Fulfilled. That Her Punishment Is To Desire Me.
When She Hides... That I May Be Like A Child In Curiosity. When She Confesses... As Though I Am Her Lord... As If I Am Deserving Of The Truth. As If Ever She Was Not The Truth. As If Ever She Is Beneath Me. When She Is Vulnerable... When She Is Uplifted.... Made Of Flesh. When She Is Mine To Have And To Hold... The List Is, Sadly, A Long One. Poetry In The Making. A Beautiful Silence With A World Of "Mercy!"

Those Are Moments That Convince Me God Is Awesomely Merciful And Absolutely Genius.

Weights And Measures... Are, Sadly, A Part Of This Awesome Experience. But That Is Another Thread.

The Meaning Of Life: "¡Ave Maria Gratia Plena!" A Motto For A Simple Mercy.

There Are Dreams And Fantasies And Truths. And, IMO, God Is Real. I See It When I'm With Her.

Rant Over. I'll Be Happier When Religion(s) Don't Rebuke Me For Not Placing My Faith In Their Hokey, Pokey... Hocus, Pocus... Mombo Jombo. I Don't Like Their Weights And Measures...
They're The People Who Mystify Themselves With Books... And Relics... And Charms... And Costumes... And Chants... And Rituals... And Threats... And Wine... And Bread... And Myths... And Images... And, Oftentimes, With Logic They Assume Is Exceptional. Also... With A Desire To Empty My Pockets For One Who Either Has Or Does Not. Of All The Things Weights And Measures Can Make Of A Man.... I Find That Being A Husband Is An Honor And A Harder Thing Than Many Of The Weights And Measures.

Religion Is, IMO, Something That I Cannot Lend Myself To. I Don't Trust It. They Have A Butt Load Of Lessons And Threats And Uncanny Sense Of Worth. I Don't Buy It. But... I Do Admire The Clever God Who's Idea It Was To Create A Woman. I Prefer Not To Call Him Names I Don't Like To Chant. Especially 72. But.... When I'm With Her... I Sometimes, If I Can Break Away From Her Charm, Think "Damn.... God Is An Amazing Genius!"

Maybe We'll Make Babies... Someday. It'd Be Nice, Boy Or Girl, For It/Them To Have Their Share In The Experience Of A Life.

Jesus... IMHO.... According To Three Experiences... "Is Real, Potent, And Down Right Spooky!"
I'm Mostly Scared To Experience Him. More Than I Am Of Many Other Things.

He Doesn't Give Me Music For My Ears... Nor A Behold For My Eyes That I May See.... Instead He Picks On Me, Politely, And Puts Spells On Me That Rob Me Of My Typical Lifestyle.
He Doesn't Even Give A Heads Up. He Just Picks Whichever Darn Thing He Assumes Is A Sickness And Cures It. I'm Talking About Moral Shortcomings. Powerful Spells That Are Hard To Break Away From. That Dude... Is... A... Spook!

Free Will... Is Not Free. If You Love Jesus. Good. If You Want Me To Love Jesus... Tell Him, The Great Pinocchio, Must First Be Sure... That There Will Be No Spooks. Or Else... I'll Be Miserable.
