My Green Tambourine by The Lemon Pipers was an odd song. Not fully psychedelic nor exactly bubble gum pop of the 60's. The band itself formed here where I live while they attended Miami University. 1968 was the year and yes I have seen various publicity stills and the clothes were...very 1960's. And while the group faded into obscurity, the lead singer did not. He went on to form Ram Jam, so I guess there was more musically to the guy than the fad sounds of the time.

I hope Zazz joins us so we can have MORE Hippies!!!
