The UK 'Independent' (beyond laughable I know) recently released a pro GM piece, bashing organic food, actually claiming organic food is dangerous, whilst singing the praises of GM.

Not much else really comes to mind other than 'please God, come and help us'.

'If GM crops are bad, show us the evidence'
2011 from eating organic beansprouts tragically discovered.
efore it is too late.

No. Skirting around the subject of GM crops (I am still gathering information and undecided), the Independent did NOT release a pro GM piece. The article you refer to is an opinion piece and as such is not sanctioned by the Independent. "Beyond Laughable?" Would you prefer it came from the Sun or Daily Mail?

So you think this 'opinion' piece is just random, that the author decided to speak about GMO all from his own opinion and David Cameron's recent comments on GMO is just coincidence? Oh and let's not forget the recent comments from the Environment Secretary declaring that GMO is safer than conventional food (something conveniently mentioned in this very article!!!!!)

Good one

This is part of the agenda- propaganda to make the people in the UK accept GMO. If you don't want to accept that the media and politicians are controlled then you need to start doing some research on what is really going on. They are puppets, promoting whatever their masters tell them to promote.

Credit the "UK people" with a modicum of intelligence to take in the facts from both sides; both the "we don't think GM is bad" and the contrary "GM will kill us all" types.

Propaganda is two way and the anti-GM crowd seem to flounder on proving GMO causes death, destruction, mayhem, cancer and all sins known to man. In keeping it factual, the anti-GM propaganda has a very big stall.

Agree Skyfloating...especially considering the human genome project proceeded for a 13yr period, to be completed only within the past decade, its reasonable to require equally rigorous studies for the genetic manipulation of consumables which genteic information influences our gentic expression.
Thanks~
