I have a co-worker/friend who lost her mother last summer unexpectedly. My friend is having a really hard time dealing with her loss because they
lived together, and she helped take care of her after she divorced her step-dad.
Now she is all alone and having a hard time coping in the new house they bought together a few years ago.
She told me her mother loved butterflies, and because they never did see any real ones outside of the house, her mother had little do-dads of
butterflies sitting around the house.
She said last week she was having a "hard day". She was talking to her mother, asking her to give her a sign that she was still with her.
Later she looked out on her porch and there was a beautiful, vibrant purple butterfly sitting on the arm of the chair. She said it was the most
beautiful butterfly she had ever seen.
She went out and stood in front of it and talked to it, and it didn't fly away. She went back in to get her camera to take a picture and told it not
to leave.
It was still there when she returned, and she got the picture.
She said that butterfly stayed on her porch ALL day! She took this as her mother's "sign" that she had asked for.
My friend's birthday is coming up next week, and I want to make a card with the butterfly on the front from the picture she took (she is supposed to
e-mail it to me), and write a verse that would sound like something her mom would say to her on the inside.
Is anyone here that can help me with the verse? I'm not good at writing things like that.
It needs to be something loving, inspirational, and saying she will always be with her.
Any volunteers?
Thank you in advance.
