People react emotionally in different ways to different things. Thousands commit suicides over seemingly small issues. In 60 years he would've died
and perhaps no one would've ever heard of him. Now he made it into headlines, became a celebrity... Suicides even have the potential to turn into
martyrdom.

They say he was about to marry. Perhaps he was about to marry another man ? That would pretty much explain it. Many people would commit suicide if
they heard that it may become constitutional that they can never form union with their loved one.
Likely he though that Bush has forgot what war on terror was really about. Osama doesn't live in Iraq. And he wanted to draw attention back to ground
zero.
Much more dangerous are the psychos, who will also opt for suicide after this, but not alone. There might very well be more incidents like the guy who
tried to run over Katherine Harris. It's completely believable scenario that someone packs himself into a human bomb and goes to meet some
republicans.
