I make a strong case of Deja Vu... As if I'd seen this story covered before.

I notice your start date though and realize it would be rude to say more ...so I'll say you did a fine job of catching this and whoever spent their long long loooooong hours pouring over imagery to have spotted that little guy ..or what looks like a little rodent..really did find Waldo. Rats....if only there were a food source anywhere on the surface to account for it being more than a ratty looking stone, eh?

That's a gerbil! In fact, I think that's MY gerbil!!! Holy smokes, when my parents said he was up in the stars, they weren't kidding. He landed on Mars, I need to call my dad right now and find out how he did this. I want my gerbil BACK!!!!

It appears to me that what appears to be a rodent shaped rock is in fact...
2 rocks. If you look behind what appears to be a front leg, there is a seam where the two rocks are separate.
