What do you see sweet about an event that killed people? I'm seriously missing the point you're driving at. What irony? Some idiots screwed up the routine demo of a building. Those are done every day across this nation. Several a day, I'll bet. This one went horribly wrong. I don't see irony to anything here. Wow. It's a tragedy, not something to be amused with?

A controlled demolition goes bad, and people on ATS actually accept it was a controlled demolition, without question. Two hijacked planes destroy the WTC and millions of people watch it happen, but people on ATS insist it was really a controlled demolition, against all the evidence.

I think what Sankari is trying to make a statement on is how everyone is willing to believe this was just a controlled demolition gone bad or the failure of a demolition crew. How everyone is willing to believe that without much questioning yet when it comes to 9/11 even though their were thousands of witnesses for the first plane and maybe hundred of thousands for the second though still some folks on ATS refuse to acknowledge what all those witnesses believe or saw.

Not an illogical thought at all really I am just not sure this was the time to bring it up.

The controlled demolition comments don't really fit in relation to supposed CD that may have happened on 9/11.

This building in Philly was being knocked down slowly using heavy equipment, not explosives.
