Stay away from www.rivercottage.com.

Hi,
Just wanted to let you know that you should stay away from www.rivercottage.com because i've gottten malware on my p.c from that site (i'm pretty sure anyway) so i'm posting this through the Xbox 360 Internet Exploprer app on my 360 cause my p.c is in for malware/virus removal at a p.c service/purchase shop.

Just been there. White screen with a few lines of pink text. No malware and seems pretty pointless.

EDIT - it's "rivercottage.net" but you're right my Norton blocked the site. Don't u use a virus program?

I do use an anti virus program but the screen froze then unfroze and it stopped responding and a pop up said"malware detected" then i tried opening avg and it said "cannot open avg"same with Internet Explorer.
So i've taken my computer to a computer serrvice centre so they can go through the systewm and remove the malware.

Telling people not to go there is just going to make them want to go there.

So then i went then and looked at the source code for the page and found nothing.

All in all its about 99.9% certain that www.rivercottage.com contains no malware and is safe.

It may have been compromised at one time, but sight is clean now.
