Thank you i appreciate that, the recent illustrations were largely as a result of digging these old pictures out and following up on a few ideas, with regards to caves and ghosts.

Your work is inspiring. I've been watching a lot of documentaries about painters lately and one of the artist that really intrigued me is Paula Rego, she prefers oil pastel.

Now I'm in an oil pastel rabbit hole... soft, hard, pencils, what kinds of paper, fixatives, acrylic gesso base?... It's a delightful rabbit hole to be in for a very welcome change. Thank you.
