My Brother - The Islamist

The worst of the Muslims is better than the best of the kuffar (unbelievers, non-muslims, Literally, those who are covered from the truth).

This was spoken by an Englishman in this documentary that was created by his stepbrother. He also believes that women should be stoned to death for adultery. He hates freedom and democracy. He's a white, middle class, 27 year old born and raised in Weymouth. And now he's ready to fight and die for his beliefs. Richard Dart transformed himself from a child full of hope and promise, to a man full of hate and malevolent intentions.

I'm only four minutes into this documentary and my heart aches for the life of what this young man could've had, and I am filled with the dread of what this man has become. I don't know how far I can go without the risk of this thread getting deleted, so let's just say I am so, so sad. Hope you watch the video.

The look in Rich's eye honestly looks like he's possessed. (That could be a good thing or not take it as you want.) As for Ben, he said he found Islam through YouTube videos.. Religion should be of spiritual finding not something you just pick and chose imo.

I don't believe Ben is a Muslim. He's a follower who is just looking to fit in somewhere. I'm glad my daughter is grown. I wouldn't have wanted her, as a young child, exposed to this descent into madness.

Is there a monotheistic religion that isn't radical? For a powerful church to forbid the use of condoms in an AIDS infested region of the world, willing to support the spread of the disease and condemn people to death by it, that's pretty radical to me. Just sayin'.

In truth, Islam is counter to enlightenment. Islam seeks to destroy ego, destroy personal identity, destroy personal rationalization, and substitute it with Muhammadan-Robotics. Muslims copy Muhammad to the utmost. They dress like him, they act like him, they speak his words, they even make love with their spouse the way he says. Islam creates Muhammad robots, clones, and zombies. This is in no way a road towards enlightenment, it is brainwashing.

I don't believe that Islam is the culprit here. If converts can't see the ugliness in this religion then there's something very wrong with them.

The road to Islamic conversion is a slippery slope. Because Islam is a combination of religion, politics, economics, and ethics, vastly different people can get pulled into it by different aspects of its ideology. People get sucked in by what they are drawn to. Name an aspect of social or societal interest, and surely enough, Islam exerts its methodology. Even in etymology, the original root-word that "Islam" is derived from is related to "peace", i.e., "SLM". Simple things like this draw in people's curiosity.

Upon being catered to what one is drawn towards, a deep sense of family and belonging is blanketed over converts and fellow muslims. This not only makes one happy, but it also helps to enforce the sociological effect of a "pack mentality". This leads one towards conclusions and rationalizations that if so many people believe and act a certain way, it must be right.

It is only after belief, faith, and pack-mentality is achieved, that an honest person can be persuaded that faith alone makes them superior over all of mankind,.... tricked into thinking that their belonging to Islam is cause enough to be separate from all of mankind. It is after this brainwashing that peaceful humans can be manipulated into terrorism, war, unnecessary murder, sexist ideologies, anger, and hate. Their identities are destroyed and they "hate for allah, love for allah, kill for allah."

New converts are told Islam believes that all of mankind is one nation, and that there is no compulsion in religion. It is after faith is achieved that people can nonchalantly contradict this with anger, hate, separation, and superiority complexes against kafirron (non-believers). Islam teaches delusional altruism. After faith is achieved, muslims hypocritically recite the Hadith "none of you have faith until you love for your brother what you love for yourself," all the while allah has defined that "all believers are brothers."

There is no freedom, peace, or equality in Islam. The jizyah tax against non-believers is proof enough.

I think I understand why news of Westerners converting to Islam alarms both Christians and atheists alike.

For the Christian (the few that are left), it is a grim reminder that their religion has pretty much collapsed in the West and they have no choice but to live within a secular framework, that makes all room for the vices prohibited by the Bible.
For the Atheist its a sign that the collapse of Christianity in Western society was only a short lived victory. In other words, Christianity out, Islam in. So of course, news of a Westerner converting to Islam would be "disheartening" to atheists and Christians alike.

Every group welcomes the news of new converts to their belief system. Islam is no different. Of course, in this case, Rich with his views, comes across as a rather excited new convert (he was only 6 months into Islam at the time the documentary was shot) but he doesn't represent every single western convert to Islam.

A bit presumptuous there akhi. You would have to ask a Christian or an atheist why they would be alarmed, because I am neither of those. I'm sorry you wasted your time directing your response to Christians and atheists.

How about we stick to the points that I made above instead of searching for personal attacks?

What "personality death" are you talking about exactly? In that video, we clearly see that Richard, Ben, Zakariya and the other white dude all had their own personalities in terms of temperament and sense of humor. They were hardly robots as you make it seem.

Regarding everyday activities that are done as prescribed by Islam, you will find the same thing everywhere. Hindus, Sikhs, Jews and everybody else who identifies with a religion carry themselves about the way their religion prescribes. Of course, you might find a Hindu who eats beef, much like how you'd find a Muslim who enjoys a drink. No religion produces robots.

There is no freedom, peace, or equality in Islam.

Thats a personal opinion... and can apply to almost anything.
Either way, I'm more interested in discussing the contents of the video itself, and not go around in circles refuting umbrella statements like the one you made above.

Jizya is hardly the oppressive taxation system that you are making it out to be. Muslims are instructed to protect non-Muslims and not to tax them 'beyond their capabilities'.

According to the very definitin of Jizya Non-Muslims are exempt from paying Zakat, the tax collected from Muslims and non-Muslims who pay Jizya are exempt from military service which is compulsory for Muslims. But I guess you expect Muslims to risk their lives to defend non-Muslims... who should pay nothing to the state that protects them.

I'm not saying this is why Richard Dart became a Muslim, but it's been on the back of mind ever since I watched the video. SOMETHING happened that he couldn't handle, something that made him feel as though he no longer fit into the civilized norm.

What I saw were weak-minded people looking to fit in somewhere. In the movies, these are the fragile personality types that first get eaten by the monster, the ones raped in prison, the ones beaten up by the bully and need to be saved by the hero.

So, they join a vicious cult because as long as they are part of that cult every other member has to love them.

Reading your post as to why you think it's alarming .... I can tell you that you do NOT understand why it's alarming to non-muslims. Not at all. Islam drags people down and It's bad for women. It doesn't allow for other beliefs or religions. (like Saudi Arabia that bans bibles or rosaries from coming in the country). The antics of the hard core believers are not compatible with civilized society. It is the total opposite of a free society which most people in the West admire and try to achieve.
