John Tosti - true or hoax??

too bad i didnt get to read his posts before. That one video of the light, it looked like it was spinning. THAT was strange. the first UFO video. it looked like it was spinning. Really strange. Then it would flare up into purple wing like things.......

I would say something is surely happening. As to what it could be, who can say? Could be extra terrestrial. Could be some govornment toy?

I dont think its a hoax, or a hallucination. it amazes me how debunkers assume the whole #ing popuklation of the world hallucinates freely and so often.

THAT in itself requires proof.

To the people suggesting that John Toshi buy camera equipment and get X-rays and MRI: do you even know how much an MRI costs? Those things and procedures that are being suggested are very expensive; unless he is overflowing with money, I doubt he can afford many of the things suggested. Can any of you that suggested the purchase of equipment or procedures afford to spend serveral thousand dollars without feeling its effects ?

I recommend that the ATS community, through paypal, donate money so that Mr. Tosti can get an MRI. This would say quite a bit, the findings.

This is an update for those who were following this story but did'nt see the (supposed) evidence.

I feel that John Tosti is a fraud and here is why I have come to this conclusion.

On the website linked by evecasino we are given a fairly detailed story as to the background of the case.

John felt that to gain any credibility regarding what he has been seeing he needs to capture it on film.

Susan bought a video camera on December 23, and that night John ended up chasing a ball of light down the same country road to the farm where the lights have been so visible on a constant basis. He started filming two balls of light which were low over the trees. After approximately fifteen minutes of filming them, he thought he had enough footage to take back home to share with his family.

It was on this occasion that John believes he was abducted and lost 5 hours. When he returned the video footage supposedly shows something going on that he can't remember, "What she observed on the film was a red "thing" which appeared on the upper portion of the TV screen." There is no supplied footage of this strange red thing, but he supplies footage of a scar on his neck where he believes an implant has been inserted. Looking at the photo of John Tosti at the top of the website I see a very large heavyset man, but in the video, the person(who is only seen from the back) appears to be quite skinny. Is this the same person?

He then goes on to provide two newspaper cuttings from March 96 about strange lights in the area, but doesn't contact the paper regarding the footage that he has in his posession? Strange!

After this, in june 96 he ends up in the nut house and the only way he can get released is by showing the doctors this footage he has. He claims the doctors said there is nothing they could do for him and he is discharged on 24th june 96. John provides a discharge paper to back up his claim, but on that very paper it cleary states he is due for a follow up appointment in only 5 days time! If nothing can be done for him, why the follow up?

John presents some footage which he says was taken on January 19, 1996 which he describes as "most amazing" that was filmed from a car. What I find amazing is that he fails to mention that he was not alone. John was actually a passenger in a car owned by R. Amick, a member of the Circle Institute Steward's Council who gives a slightly different story,

On the night of January 18, 1997, we set out in my car carrying myself and John C. Tosti with his new optical zoom video camera. The night was very cold - around minus 10� Fahrenheit - and there was little traffic both on the roads or in the sky. We drove up Snoddy Road south of Bloomington, Indiana, near the Tibetan Cultural Center, where we had a good view of the sky to the north and east above the city. The object shown in the video out-takes above was hovering over the city. John began taping and I moved the car so that we could flash the headlight at the object. The object began moving towards us and we moved the car towards it.

Notice the date difference? In my opinion there was no footage shot at the time of the newspaper cuttings or the hospital visit and these pieces of evidence have been used to draw attention away from Johns mental condition. Surely after 8 years John would have had an x-ray on his neck to verify the existence of an implant.

John erased his posts and got the hell out of here because he realised that the members of ATS would find out the truth as his story would be subjected to close scrutinisation. Why else woud he have run?

that is a good question...I wasn't around when mr.Tosti was posting, so I cannot judge that what he said but anyway that is little strange,that he removed all his words...

Also it should be noted that the hospital discharge was marked AMA (Against Medical Advice). This reason for discharge is given when a patient REFUSES medical treatment. In other words, he wasn't forced. He may have been taken there, but refused treatment. It would be an option of the physician to request a follow-up.

I saw that Eve Casino has changed their avatar and I thought it might have referenced their own website, which I thought might have material related to this topic. I was disgusted to find out it was a porn site. I'm lucky my wife didn't walk in when the page was up. I was going to write to the moderator yesterday about it, but it appears that somebody else did this for me.

WTF! I'm new here... And I read all these posts and see why John removed his posts! First off.. this post im qouting... GET THE FACTS MAN... John had 46 minutes to talk about years of encounters and his abduction experiences...
Let me start off with I know John, my wife and I met him at a UFO meeting we went to because of strange things happening to us, and we wanted to talk to someone about them... when i met john he was shy, almost skiddish. We spoke a little here and there, he showed us some tapes and pictures.. as i was glancing at the pictures one caught my eye, he snapped a photo of his wife and above her was a formation of a being... but it wasn't the being that caught my attention.. it was the eyes on the being.. I know ive seen them somewhere i just dont know where... anyhow, john my wife and i went out a couple weeks later to do a skywatch.. and me still being new with a camera i just bought didn't catch the best sighting i ever had.. actully the first ive ever had but will remember it to the day i die.. and lots of sightings that night alone and more followed Many more..

John and us became very close friends, he told us more and more and showed us more and more.. we also heard the audio tapes of him being regressed by a medical amnesia doctor, and thats when he told us all about the abduction. I told him he needs to get that story out, and he was totally against it because of DUMB AZZES that like to debunk and call him a liar.. Everyone told him not to go forward with it, his wife prolly hates me for talking him into it.. but it needs to be told...
now on to the camera bit here.. you know YOUR PROOF. Johns wife got him a generic, RCA "i think" VHS-C. in December of 95, cause she said he needed to get proof of what they were seeing... "Later" in 96 "where you so bluntly post" he got a New Canon ES-900 for the optics, cause the RCA sucked.. and "i think " he borrowed a Sony handicam in the following years... When i met him in 2003, he was still using the Canon.. Now so you have the Facts... he has bought this year a Canon L2 and a Russian 16mm film camera. We are not rich, John or us.. we do with what we can, the L2 put him back over $600.00 and thats a lot of money. he has put Thousands of dollors into this study and we are close behind, and i'm still just getting started.. thats the story behind the camera.. now unto more..

you state about a follow up visit to the "crazy ward" WOULD YOU?? he went for help and they locked him up.. and yeah doctors like to protect themselves.. so yes they would put he left against advice... and while were in the doctor area... if i have/had a inplant and went to the doctor for some kinda help sleeping... and got locked up... id be damn if i would ever go back! Now unto the video of the baby moniter, that was taken years back... john is Older now.. ppl do change... ive commented on that video and said "damn ou look so young" my wife has as well.. now think to all the stuff thats happened in the years that followed... yeah he looks older and bigger than he was.. you know what.. i was skinny 8 years, now im huge.. Newspaper articals.... he did contact the newpaper... stories were written about his sightings... WRTV in Indianapolis did a couple features on him and his partner back then.. one again.. he had "46 minutes" to give a life story, can you tell your life story in less than a hour and try to be detailed as possible.. Did you try to write R Amick and ask him about anything?? NOPE!
I have seen the red rod footage, it lasts for a couple seconds.. in the car, then injects his hand then out...
And he was tired of defending himself, NOT YOUR SO CALLED TRUTHS! You want proof?? come visit us, we'll take ya out in the freezing cold and sit for hours on end to see if something shows up, if not we'll take you out the rest of the week til something does... 9:00pm to 4-6:00am Their out there and just because you dont see one everynight or not at all isnt because their not there.. Because they are there.. your just so stuck in yourself spending hours trying to debunk someone you dont take the time to go out and see for yourself...

Mark Evans: on ATS people are used to debunk news -they are eager to find the truth, but hard evidence must be presented. When John Tosti decided to remove his post, many of us figured out that for some reason he doesn't want to argue and because he didn't care to give the reason we could assume he didn't say the truth...
Speaking for myself I wish Mr. Tosti would discuss his experience here - maybe he could convince some skeptics? I think it would be worth to try...

It actually fits the theory about the US government trading maintained secrecy and citizens for abduction for alien technology pretty well.

Why would they bother pandering to the US gov when they can take who, when and whereever they choose anywhere on the globe?

I've followed this from the start. I've even encouraged John Tosti to make his first post on AboveTopSecret.com. And you know what? Despite all of the hyper-debunking going around this thread and the useless 'Fact comparisons' and I still believe him. His story was just amazing and the pictures are just incredible. I would love to see these anomalies first hand. Ill be back in America at the beginning of February. I'll take whatever film equipment I can manage to bring.

Please let me know if this offer is still on the table.

Yes i know about the video, he filmed it, i mailed it and there is much more, we are working on a website, and lots of stills and clips will be available to view, even gonna offer a dvd for those who want to get one, he is still not gonna try to profit from anything, i think he should try, but thats me, we have different opinions on things.. But once again, he doesnt want to argue his story out, if ppl want to argue, he isnt gonna mess with it, hes dealt time and time again with that, hell i do to, i grew up raised as a christian, yet i still see the crafts, and the beings.. my family is hard core christian, and ive told em they dont beleive me. and i say screw them.. they dont take the time to just Look up! they want to argue...

The offer is always there, we Want to meet ppl who have had experiences, but those that are not open, and just want to disprove, thats a waste of time, if you are a believer and have seen, or are open, you will see. lets see.. its freezing cold, he is zooming in on a object, "before he owned a tripod" he was somewhat frightened, the camera didnt have the latest "steady shot" those are all contributing factors.. we dont drink, i havent had a drink in years being diabetic, john doesnt drink no weed either of us, i have a newer camera and when its cold out... "which is the best time to film IMO" you shake.. and thee is a sense of excitment... so go suck on your bong, if ya aint got nothing nice to say, dont talk..
