** Let me say that I think this is a bunch of bunk ... however, I'm posting it for those who find this kind of thing interesting. Also .. for those who like to get on threads that predicted things that don't come true and say 'didn't happen .. I told you so"

Tsunami Watch’ For Atlantic Ocean Until June 5th: Dr. Simon Atkins & The Advanced Forecasting Corporation

www.youtube.com...

www.transients.info...

For those who don't want to watch the video or read the information - (and I don't blame you at all ) - this is what I'm getting out of the video and the articles -

Supposedly ... an 81% chance of an Atlantic Tsunami from earthquake/volcanic activities and because of increased solar flares. This is predicted to happen by Dr. Simon Atkins by June 5th. Most at risk are Eastern Canada, New England, the Northeast, and Mid-Atlantic. Tides higher from 2-40 feet. Mega Tsunamis possible.

As for who Dr. Simon Atkins & The Advanced Forecasting Corporation are ...
I'm searching for that and can't find it .. yet.

Out of the two, maybe three years I've been reading ATS I have never seen anyone's prediction or dream come to fruition. Never.

Either the date is moved when the day passes and no catastrophic Earth-destroying event takes place, or the people claiming said cataclysmic event just disappear off the map until a new "I had a dream" prediction of the end of the world is made up, err I mean brough on here.

I've never heard of this dude, but I have a strong feeling nothing will happen on June 5th.

Well, except for that day is my birthday. So that's pretty cool, but no giant tsunamis will happen.

Oh! How could I forget? Divid Icke also says he is announcing something June 1st? I wonder if it has to do with the "74 semi-trailers full of documents" that never happened. Or maybe, maybe there will be TWO cataclysmic events, that were both predicted, within five days!

Or these guys have another book to sell and are fear-mongering (like they always do) about, and pardon the vernacular, but complete BS.

Ze end of da world was supposed to happen in 2012, oh nevermind it was Nibiru returning, oh nevermind it was a slow shift in consciousness. Absolutely incredible how anyone can believe these predictions, when literally none of them have come to fruition.

They will never be wrong you know......Even a small quake makes a tiny tsunami....It may only be six inches high but it is still a tsunami... They happen all the time.

OK, I'm gonna go the distance and predict that ... it won't happen.

If it doesn't, can I boast that my prediction was right?

According to Mr. Dr. Simon Atkins he said, there were four X-class solar flares in several days.

I wonder if this has anything to do with the recent high volume of earthquakes or weird weather that I have been noticing?

Then again, Fox news is reporting this.

I've been here nine years. I've only seen one prediction come true. I am of the opinion that if someone predicts a tsunami for the east coast for this next week .. then it's probably a sure thing that the exact opposite will happen and everyone should go to the beach and have a great time.

Definately.
That's part of the fun with doom porn. If you get on and say 'poppycock' and then nothing happens (and it almost never happens like the prediction) .. you can get back on and say "i told you so' .. and thus boost your self esteem and have some fun.

I don't think enough research has been done into the effect of solar flares upon earth, so who knows...

Been some pretty unusual earthquake activity since the latest X class flares though

I have been witness to TWO predictions on here that have actually came true. The last one happened within the past two months and for some damn reason the thread did not get the attention it so deserved. 1st thread is the prediction and 2nd thread is the post of the EQ.

But even with these two predictions that still leaves us at a .00001% accuracy, lol.

I predict a slight increase in the sales of rubber boots for people who read this and live on the coastline.

My predictions always come true.

Anyone saying they've never seen a prediction on ATS occur isn't reading the ATS threads. I made one from a psychic who said an asteroid would hit earth (however small) and it did in Russia! This was the first larger type of asteroid this century that we had definitive confirmation of!

Well just for #s and giggles lets say it did happen, and it was the worst case scenario 40 ft plus tsunami.

From it point in the Canary Islands it tsunami would take 8-9 hours to cross the Atlantic Ocean. Depending on the time of day in which this event occurs there extreme trouble in sounding the alarm. A 40 foot tsunami would totally inundate the coastline for several hundred miles inland not to mention it would totally devastate the entire State of Florida.

You would have 8 hours or less to evacuate over 100 million people, and there is no way it could be done. The safest bet would be to seek shelter on higher ground or in tall building (sky scrapers). Still you have a death toll in the Ten of Millions! Plus after the tsunami recedes to effected area is totally uninhabitable which would call for the relocation of the survivors. Not to mention 2 trillion dollars in damage and the total loss of ever major city on the eastern seaboard, including Washington DC.

This is not a matter of if it happens but when it happens. Though I high doubt it will occur by June 5th, the fact remains that this will one day occur.

He has also tweeted an endorsement of the article linked in the OP, here.

From www.transients.info...

“Magnetic alignment down the northernhalf of the US East Coast, with heavy precipitation from NY State to the Canadian Maritimes, in actuality an 'attracting energy'.”

What the heck does that even mean?

I used to have a dream that there was a tidal wave coming at me and it was huge! It was coming in out of the east and was moving really slow or at least it seemed that way! I used to have this dream all the time when I was a kid and stopped having it as I got older but had the dream a couple of times about 3 years ago! I don't know if this is some kind of prediction or just my sub-conscience telling me something my conscience doesn't know!
Well whatever happens I wont ever know if I was predicting something because I would be dead!

If a big tsunami did hit the east coast however I would rather be killed instantly then be those people who have to live in the world after it! I could not imagine the effect of such a thing on the worlds economy!

I've been a member for a short time, but very long time lurker, years and years. I don't normally reply to stuff, but I had to on this because I've been doing alot of research about the sun and the impact on the earth.

So here you go.

Simon Atkins is not saying that this will absolutely 100% happen. All he is saying is that based on science, with the energy from our sun pummeling the earth as of late and the pressures of the tectonic plates; the north atlantic is the one place that hasn't let off any pressure, so the risk of an earthquake in this region is very high, which in turn can cause a Tsunami on the east coast. Thats it, thats all it is, nothing more.

There have been alot of natural disasters that have happened in the past. Do we think we are invincible? Why do we think that these things couldn't happen again? Why do people try to discredit others just because they are trying to get the word out that the risk is high?

Do you really thing Nasa or the government or anyone in major position would say, Hey people! Get your butts away from the east coast of the entire USA because there is a real risk that a Tsumani is going to wipe the east coast off the map and millions will die! Do you realize the impact that would have? And then how will the people react if it doesn't happen?

I watched the video showing him as an alien hybrid. They are trying to make this guy look like a kook! but if you really research him, its just that he's talking in a way most of us don't understand AND they are totally mis-quoting him. The highest risk time is until June 5th, not the 6th. That is just the highest risk time frame. It doesn't mean it can't happen before or after the dates given, and when people talk about the eye color changing thing, well thats just ridiculous. That happens to anyones eyes in different lighting and also depends on what their wearing and reflections.

My mother always told me to plan for the worse and hope for the best? Shouldn't we always be prepared for the worst, and always hope and pray for the best?
