It is sung by Third Day if anyone is interested in hearing it
Lovesong
[1st Verse]
I've heard it said that a man would climb a mountain
Just to be with the one he loves.
How many times has he broken that promise
It has never been done.
I've never climbed the highest mountain,
But I walked the hill of Calvary.
[Chorus]
Just to be with you, I will do anything
There's no price I would not pay no
Just to be with you, I would give everything
I would give my life away.
[2nd Verse]
I've heard it said that a man would swim the ocean
Just to be with the one he loves
All of those dreams are an empty motion.
It can never be done.
I've never swam the deepest ocean,
But I walked upon the raging sea.
[Repeat Chorus]
Just to be with you, I will do anything
There's no price I would not pay no
Just to be with you, I would give everything
I would give my life away.
[Bridge]
I know that you don't understand
the fullness of My love.
How I died upon the cross for your sins.
And I know that you don't realize
how much that I give you
But I promise, I would do it all again.
Just to be with you, I've done everything
There's no price I did not pay no
Just to be with you, I gave everything
Yes, I gave my life away.
Just to be with you.
Listening to the Black Eyed Peas is like getting a mild lobotomy, I instantly felt dumber just reading the lyrics. It reminded me of this article I
read awhile back:
The show opens with “Let’s Get Retarded In Here.” Seriously. That’s the hook. It was like Idiocracy: the Musical, with the crowd as extras.
But hey, at least these guys are honest about their agenda. Having seen the children of the world transformed into a tone-deaf choir of space monkeys
dancing for a Spring Break webcam—-I can assure you that the plan is working.
So what do you do once you have subdued the youth’s brain activity? You stoke their hormones with humps and lady lumps. Maintaining a professional
suspension of judgement was difficult as rows of preteen girls joined Fergie for the refrain:
Whatchoo gon’ do with all that junk,
All that junk inside that trunk?
Imma get, get, get, get, you drunk,
Get you love drunk off my hump[...]
My hump, my hump, my lovely lady lumps,
Check it out…
It was a weird scene—these tarted-up Australian girls on fire with precocious puberty, singing about their “lovely lady lumps” while parents
stared ahead with TV eyes.
do christians really want to take credit for all the obvious common sense positive values that most people already know? like they cant even accept
that humanity could come up with this stuff without a god telling them to do so?

The way I see it, no one is perfect: the people who are the most tempted are often the people with the greatest power to fill others with love. When
the Devil figures the kind of love we have to promote world peace and happiness HE PUTS A BOUNTY ON OUR HEAD!! It is evident that the Black Eyed Peas
have made some abominable music in their time, but this song....this song is incredible. I hope they can overcome their worldly temptations more
often!!
Here's a video by Black Eyed Peas that is absolutely loaded with biblical and occultic symbolism, remember everything in the entertainment industry is
completely controlled, nothing is put there by accident or coincidence.
Speaking of the entertainment industry, here is one of my favorite tunes by Stephen Marley that describes it pretty well!

Interesting thread, thanks. I know the song you are referring too and yes it has a beautiful message for humanity in it but the problem is the other
songs don't. If you mix a drop of water in poison it's still poison.
The trick to mind control I to say something nice so everybody thinks you are good and they have a good impression of you then you can sing about
retards and asses and nobody minds. The purpose of the black eyed peas is to supply the world with mind washing garbage and propagate the popular lies
at the moment in society while making everybody "get retarded!"
I wish they would sing about the beauty of creation and the Glory of God. Black eyed peas were after all originally made by God as food good to eat
and pleasing to look at. Let that rather be their legacy.
Dear Christians, when finished listening to song please listen to/read lyrics to "just can't get enough" there is nothing wholesome about BEP's,
just another formulated band, writing a song for the masses. It's no different than Bruno Mars writing a song about how special his lady is....
Justin Beiber....now there's a musical genius!
Despite being an azz about 90% of the time, this is one of the more moving songs by Kanye West.
"Jesus Walks"
Yo, We at war
We at war with terrorism, racism, and most of all we at war with ourselves
(Jesus Walks)
God show me the way because the Devil trying to break me down
(Jesus Walks with me) with me, with me, with me [fades]
You know what the Midwest is?
Young & Restless
Where restless (Niggas) might snatch your necklace
And next these (Niggas) might jack your Lexus
Somebody tell these (Niggas) who Kanye West is
I walk through the valley of the shadow of death is
Top floor the view alone will leave you breathless Uhhhh!
Try to catch it Uhhhh! It's kinda hard hard
Getting choked by the detectives yeah yeah now check the method
They be asking us questions, harass and arrest us
Saying "we eat pieces of # like you for breakfast"
Huh? Yall eat pieces of #? What's the basis?
We ain't going nowhere but got suits and cases
A truck full of crap rental car from Avis
My momma used to say only Jesus can save us
Well momma I know I act a fool
But I'll be gone 'til November I got packs to move I Hope
[Hook x2]
(Jesus Walks)
God show me the way because the Devil trying to break me down
(Jesus Walks with me)
The only thing that that I pray is that my feet don't fail me now
(Jesus Walks)
And I don't think there is nothing I can do now to right my wrongs
(Jesus Walks with me)
I want to talk to God but I'm afraid because we ain't spoke in so long
To the hustlers, killers, murderers, drug dealers even the strippers
(Jesus walks with them)
To the victims of Welfare for we living in hell here hell yeah
(Jesus walks with them)
Now hear ye hear ye want to see Thee more clearly
I know he hear me when my feet get weary
Cause we're the almost nearly extinct
We rappers are role models we rap we don't think
I ain't here to argue about his facial features
Or here to convert atheists into believers
I'm just trying to say the way school need teachers
The way Kathie Lee needed Regis that's the way I need Jesus
So here go my single dog radio needs this
They say you can rap about anything except for Jesus
That means guns, sex, lies, video tapes
But if I talk about God my record won't get played Huh?
Well let this take away from my spins
Which will probably take away from my ends
Then I hope this take away from my sins
And bring the day that I'm dreaming about
Next time I'm in the club everybody screaming out
(Jesus Walks)
God show me the way because the devil trying to break me down
(Jesus Walks)
The only thing that that I pray is that my feet don't fail me now
(Jesus Walks)
And I don't thing there's nothing I can do now to right my wrongs
(Jesus walks with me... fades)
I want to talk to God but I'm afraid because we ain't spoke in so long
S&F... From an atheist. Beautiful and meaningful song.
I think it's SAD the so many here cannot simply accept the song for what it is, but instead criticize and judge the vehicle (Black Eyed Peas) for not
living up to some ideal that they are convinced they, themselves, meet... Or are they judging, KNOWING that they, themselves, are not perfect in the
eyes of their God?
Where, in religion, does it say that it's OK to judge others as not being "perfect" when you, yourself are not perfect? Because I was under the
impression that just the opposite is true...
Some people can't just say, "That's beautiful" without going after what they see as a negative. Instead of recognizing the beauty and truth in
that song, they find reasons to make negative judgements... Yeah, I don't think that's what their God or Jesus had in mind at all.
Hey, I really appreciate your reply, especially considering your nominally disparaging position! It is such a popular thing to heartlessly knock down
Christianity and all it stands for...seems to indicate to me that it is still on the right track: Expect resistance, right?!
“To find that which is most sacred in this world, look to that which is most violently profaned.” ― Christopher West
You clearly have only ever heard the radio-edited version of that song. Go search it on Youtube! Its very vulgar!
This thread is trying to call attention to the Christian aspects of the BEP song, and giving them praise for their peacemaking efforts. I never said
the song itself is explicitly Christian, just that the BEP are not all bad like you might probably think!
