Elephants are my favorite animal (well besides cats) ...hehe

Maybe a little off topic but..

Excellent video. It leaves me wondering though, if that elephant is lapping up salt water like there's no tomorrow, wouldn't that damage it's liver in some way?

The only thing that could make that vid better, would be to see it's entire family/herd there with it.

If elephants are anything like dogs. It might get a bit sick from the salt water. My dog drinks sea water sometimes and he just gets sick and carries on....

Ah the joy of discovery! Thanks for sharing this. I wondered if his eyes were burning the first time he came out of the salty water towards the people. In any case he soon learned to adapt.

My dog was the same with grass, addicted yet it made her throw up every time haha. Poor thing. Oh well, at least the baby elephant was having fun.

No problem. Elephants are magnificent creatures to me. Their memory is one thing I long for.

I have a lot of little elephant figures an such around the house, I even have a lil tattoo of a cave like drawing of an elephant on my arm.
