Haha! Sure it's pretty, but please don't envy me.
The 10 degrees F above zero is way too cold already. I was planting bulbs just last week.
There are definitely ups and downs to living in the woods in AK! I am one that tolerates the winter to be able to enjoy the summer. Though I must say that the wood stove inside makes the view outside more tolerable.

Why thank you! I will take all of the sun that I can get!
It's almost 9:30 am and the sun still hasn't crested over the horizon yet, and it will be dark by around 5:30 pm. Wait, you know that though don't you? Thanks again for the sun!
It is actually supposed to rain today or tomorrow, but at this point I think I'd rather keep the snow. It can warm up sure, but too much puts too many people in the ditch.

I am grateful that we no longer have the Anchorage commute. We would count dozens of cars in the ditch every year at the first snowfall.

Hi everyone! Doc, I hope you get to feeling better. And Nat, you caffeinated reminds me of my youngest when I gave him twizzlers, once. It was funny, but kind of freaky, he is banned from them for life. Littled, remember that during their visit, no twizzlers!

The sky can be the prettiest thing. I love it because its always different, at least when it's not flat grey. I enjoyed your thread a lot, I'm glad you were discussing it here.
If you count the northern lights then I have seen every color of the rainbow in the sky. We finally have our stars back now too, I miss them all summer. Every season has its own beauty.
