I don't use a recipe. All of my measuring is done by "what looks right". However, if you remind me in a few days I will attempt to relate how I do it. Hubs on way home and will be here soon, but he's leaving for 4-5 days tomorrow evening. I can do it after that- just remind me!

Firstly and most importantly enjoy your time with hubs.

That is the perfect answer littled, like I'd explain how to make a Cornish pasty

I'll remind later and THANK YOU

Cody

I'll have my slice as it comes

I can almost taste it and I am actually drooling, remembering the the fruits I grew with my kids in Israel,

On the good side we have a garden at Mrs C's school now and a friend with inherited seeds.

Oh man am I looking forward to spring

It was pretty tasty, that one was a tomato sandwich I believe. I need to take more pictures of the gardens and harvest, I am usually so dirty and busy though that picking up my iPad or camera are the furthest thing from my mind. This little guy made the cut just because he was so special, it's the first heart tomato that I have ever grown. I am missing my gardens already.

Enjoy!

Mrs C and I are in negotiations as to what to grow.

Can you believe she thinks there is no such thing as a bacon tree

Hello woodsmom. That looks very nice indeed in the shape of a heart. You should do a thread on all your nice home grown stuff

Unfortunately, but a smoker and a pork loin are just as good, if not better!

Good luck on the garden, and just listen to your wife, don't you know we are always right? LOL!

I have discovered that the different colored tomatoes have a more distinct flavor. The yellow plum or pear tomatoes taste like sunshine squeezed into a tomato with just a little salt already sprinkled on for you. This one was a Moskvitch, just a cooler season red tomato. My favorites from this year were the black cherry tomatoes, they were a bit richer and sweeter.

That's the fun of it, there is always something new to try, many things will also grow great in buckets, maybe there is room for everything.

Why yes, yes they do!

You ever tried Redline?

If not, look for it sometime.

Hi Doc! I have tried my own, and contributed to a research project this summer to document my gardens as much as they ever have been. It was fun, but still didn't get everything I wanted done with it. I might give it another go after the holidays. I get to host Thanksgiving at my house this year & it will be the first time that my sisters have been to my home, so it will get busier soon.

There are some photos though, at least early season ones in the research thread. Here is one of my globe trollius plants in full bloom.

Cody, what happened to that thread you put up with the pictures doing the talking?

I posted in it this morning, but it's nowhere to be found now. Did the MODs remove it?

I hate my voice too. It is unique and if anyone knew me, they would recognize me from the get-go. That's why I had to turn it down. I would lose my job if people found out some of the things I've posted on ATS.

That is why I have had to be careful about what I say to a point, however, my boss and co workers all already know everything I have put down here, and a lot I have not...lol

I was open with them from the start, so for me, there is no worry unless I share something that could have legal implications, which is why I must be careful with some of my experiences while I am working this job.

*sip*

(and THANK YOU for sending the show my way!)

Yeah I got a nice u2u explaining that it was a bit picture heavy, and could have been attached to similar threads in BTS.

Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.
