Demolition Man was a good movie. The funniest thing was the machines they had that gave you a ticket every time you said a cuss word. LOL!!

Two of my favourites which didn't make the list:

Terminator Trilogy (the second is my favourite)
Star Trek: First Contact

The best time travel movie by far (in my opinion) with nobody even in the same ballpark would be Time After Time starring Malcom McDowell, David Warner and MB Steenbergen. Jack the Ripper steals the time machine and travels to modern-day San Fran where he wreaks havoc. One of my top-10, 5-star movies.

Christopher Reeves and Jane Seymour if I remember correctly....one of the all-time "chick flicks"

The Back to the Future trilogy gets my vote...with the new Time Machine being a close second. (I'm a big Jules Verne fan, just like the Doc)

cassini, is it really that difficult to type 'time machine' in a search engine?

I voted for BBTF but other movies worth mentioning include....

APEX
Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home
Donnie Darko

no not at all, however since people here have obviously seen it I thought I`d ask.

Everyone please excuse me for what is obviously a gross piece of laxity on my part. Excuse me whilst I go stick my head up google.

yes! well...I originally watched it because my mom suggested it. (I was going to be staying at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island for a forensics tournament...good times!) good movie. but Back to the Future 0WNZ all other time-travel movies. I'm a child of the 80s. I can't help myself

12 Monkeys by far!

You notice that Bruce Willis essentially goes insane as the movie progresses... if you start thinking about all the actual ramifications of time travel, I can see how one would go insane...
