I doubt they would use satellites, plus you would need one hell of a wireless modem

I'm not suggesting the video was of quad copters. The ones in the video that i posted probably used some ground network. There was some actual behind the scenes stuff that explained it. As far as Internet access. Piece of cake. They all have an on board computer and gps so you also the have self autonomous aspect.

Looking like it and being it are two different things. You need a little more to prove it's Chinese Lanterns, for example the launching party taking credit or one of them landing or a clear shot showing it is lanterns...soooo...Trying to figure out why you're sorry, though I will take your word for it.
