Actually the Pickering plant sits on a fault line that runs strait up to Port Perry. That's a scarier scenario to me.

I'm outside Ottawa and although online and quiet, to my surprise I didn't feel a thing today.

ahah yeah it woke me up, i live in newmarket and my whole house was shaking, i thought a snowplow went by, couldn't believe it

That is my favorite kind of shaking.

INCOMING CME: Sunspot AR1748 unleashed an M3-class solar flare on May 17th at 0858 UT: image. Although this is not the strongest flare we've seen from AR1748, it could be the most geoeffective.
