I expect that number to go up the way they were describing the area.
Reports earlier of a mile wide tornado near Cleburne
Three tornadoes were reported on Wednesday southwest of the Dallas-Fort Worth area with a number of people injured and homes destroyed, as well as least three confirmed deaths, a spokeswoman for the Hood County sheriff said.
"We're going house to house right now," sheriff's Lieutenant Kathy Jividen told Reuters by telephone, adding that most the damage was in two housing subdivisions just outside of the town of Granbury, about 35 miles southwest of Fort Worth.
She said three storm-related deaths had been confirmed and that at least 28 people injured were registered as patients at a local hospital. CNN said several people were killed more than 100 others were reported injured. (Reporting by David Bailey; Writing by Steve Gorman; Editing by Cynthia Johnston)
