Interstate 75 southbound is shut down at Mt. Paran Road due to a police chase.
According to the Cobb County Police Department, a woman robbed the Sun Trust Bank on Mars Hill Road and police pursued her onto the interstate, where she crashed her car.

Police said the woman threatened that she had a bomb at the bank, and the Georgia Department of Transportation confirmed an explosive device was found in the car.

Christina Regusters spoke in a child-like voice, saying that she understood the charges against her during her first court appearance on charges related to the kidnapping and sexual assault of a five-year-old girl. Regusters, 19, is being held on $4 million dollars bail.
All lanes of Interstate 75 are being reopened after the entire highway was closed for more than an hour and a half on Monday.
