A 1938 spoof on crazy laws that were (I'm sure some still are) on the books. Despite the corniness, some of the writers and producers of these things had really wry senses of humor. Buster Keaton had a hand in this one.

Like real American communities, Sometown obeys it's laws.(it's many laws)
That's just not true. Yes, many towns still have ridiculous laws/ordinances that are still in the books, but only because they have not been officially removed from the books. However, many of those are never enforced.
