Chrysanthemums

Just finished this one.



Oil on canvas.

The oil isn't dry yet.

Decorated with 24 carat gold leaf.

I didn't painted over the gold leaf because I considered that in its natural state looks better.

I wish I had the money to paint. I draw instead, it's more affordable for me. I use prism colors to, but I have to wrestle them away from my fifteen year old artist! Perhaps I'll take some photos of my work and post em' up. Your beginning to inspire me to share!

i really like this one too, you have a flair for flowers

have you thought about what you want to do with your paintings, as you seem to have the bug for painting and will no doubt build up collection of them as time goes by.. do you plan on putting them up at home? maybe gifting some?
i love to give my own work away when i feel it will be appreciated, but i always hang onto bits i'm really proud of for some weeks or months before parting with them, so i can enjoy them for a while too

Too early to think about it.

It's just the beginning.

Probably they are like wine kept in sealed bottles.

With time it becomes more tasty and not only.

Or maybe not.

It has a rustic feel and i enjoy your color choices.

Colors are important in a painting by the way you arrange them to give a contrast of colors.
