Rather than deal with the information you have chosen to throw out a red-herring? Come on Haunt, you can do better than that. Are you okay with the IRS targeting groups based on their perceived political standings?

The Pro-Obama crowd HAS to do something!

This makes the who lot of them look bad.

Haunt surely tows the line, but in this case it is serious and dangerous as it hits home. When will the IRS move from political groups to individuals? Will the next Republican president continue this if they are not punished right here and now? Absolutely.

That is why it is important but Haunt is too worried in how bad their political party looks with this.

You bring up a good point. I wonder how forgiving they would be under a republican administration?

Most certainly the IRS will tow the line to protect whichever political party is in charge! As a matter of fact I listened to some Progressive defense on this topic blame Bush because the guy in charge of the IRS was appointed by Bush!

My God people, when will we realize that the D/Rs are nothing more than two wings on the same bird?

The government of the United States has gone absolutely crazy to the point that they lie so much to the general public that we might as well assume that incidents like this will just become a very common occurrence in Americans daily lives!

But yet, instead of Americans realizing the tactics of divide and conquer, we will just double down all the more and defend the criminals whom rule over us.........

Edit: I must add, that is this the government America wants? That when one party is caught breaking the law and the other party bitches about it, that the over riding excuse will ALWAYS be "POLITICAL POSTURING"?????

My God my fellow Americans, can you not see the swirling abyss of sewage that we are facing by believing in this kind of political rhetoric?

How can we EVER get BETTER as a country if we are not allowed to find out the TRUTH, and have justice, if things are always going to be construed as "Political Posturing"?

It wasn't a whole lot different under any of the previous admins. Ollie North is a patriot. Brownie did a good job. Sandy Berger can steal classified files, and then lose them, without repercussion.

"Breaking the law" is relative to who you are, and who likes you.

Don't forget, the same IRS will be monitoring Obamacare starting next year as well.

Hmmm, I wonder how many people are thinking back and wondering if they have ever actually checked any of those boxes on the IRS forms asking if the filer would like to donate a portion of their return to a political party.

hmmm...thinking...thinking...

And the hole just gets deeper.

www.washingtonpost.com...

I have a feeling that the IRS will be looking at voter registration in the near future. Seeing that if people have the time and inclination to vote, then they must have money.

That and there are citizens with money who are renouncing their citizenship and moving to greener pastures.

Who's going to make up the loss of taxes there? We will, those of us who are left.

I might tend to agree with ya....

If I could just get this weird white stuff out of my eyes to see where it's falling from. Anyone got a towel?

Deny ignorance. We all know that Obummer and his crowd won't even acknowledge this, or it he does, it will be with some small, token verbal admonishment. He is a master at paying lip service to the American public, especially when the "wrongdoing" supports his libtard agenda. And when you take into account THIS link, it becomes more than obvious what the specifics of that libtard agenda really are. Their goal to tear it all down, and promote their own socialist views.

Im flabbergasted that this isnt getting more attention.......

If a conservative were in office and the IRS was TARGETING liberals.......there would be a HUGE outcry.....

This is unconscionable ..........for a gov entity to admit to targeting a political ideology , and NO ONE seems to have an issue with this?

Hey conspiracy theorists WAKE UP , HERES ONE!

As I said, the lip-service and BS continues. According to Obummer, "...it is outrageous, if true..." (emphasis mine) I can pretty much guarantee this is all you'll hear from these libtards. Nothing will get done, no heads will roll and it will be business as usual.

Thanks for the mental images.

I love seeing Conservatives get so hyped up over such trivial things...all in the hopes that maybe THIS TIME, they can impeach Obama.

First, prove that Obama had anything to do with this...then go ahead and start talking about impeachment.

I picture Conservatives like a cat chasing a laser pointer..."Oh....Birth Certificate, Impeach....Oh...Kenyan, Impeach....Oh....Musulim, Impeach.......Drones, Impeach....Oh...Fast and Furious, Impeach....Oh....Benghazi, Impeach....Oh....IRS, Impeach....Oh...shiny light, IMPEACH.

If you can't prove this was a directed action by Obama, you have nothing.

perceived??? how about using the words, actual political standings...let's see, a group with the name tea party, a direct throwback to the term "not paying taxes", a group that thinks the government is the enemy, Obama is the evil enemy...and yet...shocker!!!!, their exempt status was being scrutinized!!

well, they did it to bill...why not try and do it to every democratic president?....they can't govern or even work with the democrats, so, this is what they do.....it would be nice to see them pass 1 jobs bill, rather than working on their 40th legislative try on overturning Obama's healthcare law. by the way, the head of the IRS was appointed by bush, not exactly a pal of Obama

That is actually a very valid argument.

When a group starts up with the phrase TAXED ENOUGH ALREADY...why not scrutinize them a little more than a dog shelter looking for tax exempt status?

I thought the Right Wing was all about profiling...oh right...that was only for Muslims and people with dark skin.

hey, here's something new, PAY YOUR DAMN TAXES.....quit bitchin' about it, and get on with your life.... I guess every republican wants a country similar to Bangladesh.....the extreme wealthy and the dirt poor. if you haven't noticed, every income, personal wealth, and tax chart, shows that's where we are headed and the republicans couldn't be happier.
