If humans, using Tesla's ideas or not, can build flying saucers that perform as described by so many witnesses and radar operators, then so can aliens on planets of nearby star systems. Remember the words of the philosopher Lennon "Nothing you can do that can't be done." It means that if something can be done it has been done somewhere in the universe and probably not so many light-years away. Keep in mind that there are 49 sunlike stars besides our Sun within 51 light-years of Earth, most much older, plus other types of stars capable of supporting life. And this gorgeous Earth must very tempting to folks less than 50 light-years away capable of interstellar travel.

It's those believers and tinfoils that put some special clothings and things like that, that make the topic a joke.

In fact, if not the clowns, like this one below, the critics abd debunking of some skeptics would not have solid ground but when such yahoos exist and post nonsense, it is of course clear that the credibility goes elsewhere.

Yes that is the common belief.
But if man did the flying saucer why should anyone bring up the alien topic if
not to pursue their own initiative of story telling.

Unknown ship have been witnessed on the ground and up closed in the air
so they are solid man made objects. Why the sparks and bright lights or
black light objects in photos, all part of Tesla ship propulsion effects on
the surrounding air.

The ships must remain a secret for various reasons but count me out when
going down alien la la land. So the story telling is part of the secret.

Let’s move over and talk a little about one of BoC favorite claims: US or other countries have retrieved “crashed” UFOs and successfully are doing reverse engineering.
I’m an electronics engineer and I can tell you that I’m amazed by the progress from this field. And I don’t think it is due to some knowledge acquired from UFOs but because of increased speed and processing power of our collective “CPU”: we have upgraded our number of “cores” (increased population is not always a bad thing), “cores” are “smarter”(better education) and information is travelling fast (thanks to WWW, and moreover, you don’t have to reinvent the wheel).
Back to reverse engineering claims, in order to emphasize the absurdity of this, I propose to you the following analogy: let’s say that I would be able to get back in time/space 2000 years, to Rome, where I would bring together the brightest minds from Roman Empire. I have no doubt that I would find enough people sufficiently smart to be accepted in Mensa society. And I would give them a smartphone to reverse engineering it (to make this a truly diabolical task, but more closely to “crashed” UFOs, I should smash it to pieces).
How long do you think it will take them to understand the technology of smartphone and build a replica?
If your answer is couple of years or decades, you are gravely mistaken and you have no slightest idea how much science and technology is behind this common (for us) device. They will need our knowledge’s of mathematics, physics, chemistry, metallurgy, electronics, infrastructures, power plants, factories … and the list is so long that I see no point to write the whole here.
Long story short, from my point of view, there is no way they can do it in less than couple of hundred years. And there is another catch: the phone is only a part of a system like GSM, UMTS, LTE, etc. You need to understand the whole system (GSM, UMTS, LTE, etc.) and you need all components of that system (Base stations, Node B’s, etc.) in order to use the phone as a communication device.
So what are the chances regarding reverse engineering of alleged crashed space ships, made by aliens ahead of us with many thousands of years? In such a short time, like BoC claims, in my opinion the chances are very, very close to null.

Ufology and new age alien cults' "philosophy" are not one and the same thing, OP. You are confused and rightly so.
Ufology is a good source of meaningful considerations that cannot be dismissed this easily. Nobody who is serious about ufology will project spiritual or religious elements into the study of UFOs- what you are referring to is an entirely different phenomenon.
