Practically the same thing happened to me a couple of weeks ago. I noticed the 11:11, and then realised that I had not been aware of it for many months.

In fact, it reminded me of ATS - I had not posted since August 2011 - and that is why I am here now.

I have always felt that this is associated with how healthy your spirituality is, or rather your aura. If you notice yourself seeing 11:11 more often, its the world saying "Good Job".

I have no references, this is all purely how I feel about the issue due to past experience.

Its a kind reminder of what the path for you is. And you will find it in the oddest places when 'they' are giving a nod in your direction. Dont get carried away by the thought of who 'they' are, but rather, think of what actions you have made that might have brought about a nod in your direction.

I see 33 just about everyday multiple times. Just two days ago I picked up my ipod, 2:33. The next time I checked it that day 3:33 and then 5:33. The thing that runs through my mind is why every time I went to check the time the minutes were 33? I have learned to love it and now it's apart of my life. But it does get a bit more weird for me. I saw 33 (like everyday) but this day I decided to meditate. I usually meditate by visualizing myself walking into an empty room where no thought or sound is and then I ask the question, what do you want me to know today. Jesus popped into my mind (weird because he was 33 when he died) and Jesus said fruit. For the rest of the day I was puzzled like what the heck is up with fruit? In the evening I picked up my bible and just randomly opened it and got a passage of Christ speaking. When I got to verse 33 the subject was about fruit. Man oh man the chills ran up and down my spine.

I have heard from articles, videos, post and people that God works in threes. I don't know who true this is but it started with 33, fruit, then the passage to back up both those things. So weird but it left a feeling of peace on my heart.

Ah the 1:11,11:11. It bugs me to, I have been getting this allot, and i'm not a time watcher. I never pay much attention to time anyway.

Thing is it has been increasing the times i'm seeing it. I'm sure its more then just a pattern. I believe you could see it as one of those things like the mothman prophesies.

Its real enough people are affected by this. What does it mean? I don't know, and i'm sure when the time is right, i'l know and it will make sense.

We live in interesting times; I'm not a spiritual guy, but those numbers sure give of a certain vibe.

The best thing I can ascertain, is that the numbers are queing you (your body brain) to resonate at the same frequency the numbers do and it is a Timed Event whatever is to happen at 1:11 you must calibrate to, then you will experience it. It is very difficult to explain, the main thing is you are becoming aware of it and that is a MAJOR step in your evolution.

I realize that I haven't commented on this in some time, but I've been meaning to post a finality to this thread. Strangely enough, a day or two after my original post, I walked into a Barnes & Noble bookstore (yes, I'm one of the rare few who still likes to meander through an actual bookstore, lol), and right in the front vestibule where they display some of their bargain books, I was hit with the title 11:11 The Time Prompt Phenomenon - The Meaning Behind Mysterious Signs Sequences, and Synchronicities by Marie D. Jones and Larry Flaxman. The book addresses all manner of number correlations, but I'll cite a few paragraphs from the Chapter entitled "11:11":

One of the most popular and widely reported time prompts seems to occur predominately at 11:11 a.m. or p.m. It has been theorized by some that this time prompt may be associated with a type of transformational portal or doorway that opens during this period, a "thinning" of the veil between worlds, if you will. This hypothesis posits that contact with a completely separate level of awareness, consciousness, or reality may be somehow accessed during these times.

To those who have actually experienced the 11:11 phenomenon, they believe the numbers are saying something else: "Pay attention!"

The vast majority of phenomenological instances, however, don't seem to involve anything at all beyond the annoyingly repetitive synchronicity. We, the authors, put the word out about this subject matter to a wide variety of our sources. We invited people to send us their anecdotes of time prompts, as well as their experiences with synchronistic or repeating numbers. Within a very short span of time, the responses started to pour in. Are these all just simple coincidences? After all, numbers can and do repeat, and even take on patterns. They cannot help but do so, especially those digits under 20, which are such an integral element of our lives. Driver's licenses, phone numbers, house numbers, special anniversary dates, birthdates, age.... With that being said, in the case of some time prompt reports, there definitely seems to be more to the story than just odd luck or random happenstance.

As a final comment, I continue to repeatedly see the 11:11 prompt. What does it mean? I still remain uncertain, but it remains a fascinating subject to ponder.

Noone cared one iota whether it was 11:11 or 2:22 before the advent of digital clocks. New Age tripe. The body clock explains it sufficiently. There seems to be a link between heightened awareness of the phenomena and depression in the individual experiencing it.

Depression??? Would you care to explain this? I am one of the most up-beat and optimistic people I know. I can appreciate your other arguments, but what, on earth, does depression have to do with it?

I've experienced it myself and seen many stories of other people in similiar situations. For example, Vinnie Paul of the metal band Pantera reports seeing 11:11 after his brother's murder. There are tons of stories like this here and on the net. Does it mean everyone who experiences 11:11 is depressed? Obviously not.

I tell you this. I am convinced for myself that there is nothing spiritual/metaphysical behind the 11:11 thing whatsoever.

I have a thought do any of you have or think you have a past life experience or are drawn to war or weapon's of war? if so... it might be because the war to war all wars ended... At the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918, the Great War ends.

This might be why 11:11 gets to you, you might be the last causalities of the war at that moment, you might have died and think there is unfinished work to be done.

Why this life time: you are in a time of history when in one second all life on earth could come to an end , you are to bring about things to prevent that end. You find war distasteful, repulsing, and sickening. You look at a weapons and think, why does man seek in ways to end life.

This is just a thought and there is no proof of any of this. but if you do agree with any of the above your not a lone, there are more than know.

That being said, just as you have gleaned certain facts about depression being a factor from your own personal experience, I have gleaned just the opposite from my own personal experience (I am in no way depressed and currently see 11:11 all the time).

It will keep happening as long as you attribute something special to it. As soon as I figured out what it was, and stopped being so fixiated on it, it went away.

Again, noone cares about 11:11 when they look at a non-digital clock.

Numerology in conjunction with harmonics and geometry equals levitation.

Musical notes based on their frequency in Hertz can lead to divination. So if you saw 4:40 AM then that might coincide with a musical A at 440Hz.

Very soon, many spiritual people will be tempted to delve into the world of divination.

The problem is can the source of these codes be trusted ?
Can the demon/alien spirit be trusted whilst they smack you across the head making you look at the clock when it just so happens to be 11:11 AM ?

Big temptation is coming. Especially if seeing these numbers allows people to fly !!!

I go through times when it is happening, and had it going on for two days recently. But it is not just 11:11 for me, it is 22:22; 12:12, 13:13, 10:10, etc. Just numbers being "mirrored" like that whenever I happen to see a clock.
A lot of synchronicity in general is usually happening at those times too.

I have no theory about this phenomenon. Sometimes I just feel it is my subconscious nudging me to look at those moments, to call my attention to my intuition, and messages it might have for me. I notice that when this starts happening I become more receptive, alert. Just wondering probably makes me more aware of opportunities that might arise.
