Are psychics for real or fake? That's a question a lot of people ask but the answer depends and many factors, sure there are a lot of fakes out there that their primary function is to rip people off, these people are savvy actors who know how to manipulate the mind of others for the purpose of gaining their trust and money. They use all kinds of tricks and psychology to manipulate and the fact that many people are ignorant in these fields doesn't help them. But I do believe that some are for real. I know that some of these people never stop using their Pineal gland like most of us do so they keep this gland functioning and developing and as you know this gland is the one tool responsible for intuition and psychic development. So is common sense that if these people are always using this powerful gland they would develop psychic abilities. And then there are those who are born with and abnormally sized gland and these people are the natural born psychics. But most of us can re awake and develop this gland and I share a few exercises on how to do that in my free blog.

I'm not a fake psychic, I have no abilities that I know of. Does the fact that I am not a fake psychic make me a real psychic?

It has been my personal experience that the psychics I have found to be real; don't charge money for having that ability.

There are a lot of fakers who claim to be psychics and they are really far from it...they are however expert scam artists.

That is a good point. Take away motive of financial gain and it means that there is less chance of them being fake. I know people with special abilities and I personally seem to be able to know where friends and relatives are at times without any knowledge of it. I think this is a communication though, not a psychic ability.

Break your post up just a little. I'm not being a dick but it's easier to read if you put a space between every two or three sentences. (just a bit of advice.)

I used to think psychics were a bunch of baloney but now I'm not so sure. Maybe some people can "see", who knows.

I will try this pineal gland exercise as a test, for one week, to see if my deja vu's, which seem to be dormant right now, increase. I will use the fast track 81 reps 2x per day, then post my findings here. Will anyone also join me in this test?

At times I have this (intuition thing) going on; where I just know things ahead of time; and also from time to time I get what I call (warning dreams) about some big event that is going to happen. I don't consider myself a psychic either.

Some are fake some are real, not all psychics share the same gift, some are healers some are conduits to the other side. A true psychic shouldn't make any money other than a standard living. Those pocketing huge sums or going town to town and either fakes or abusers of the gift.

Your link doesn't work - it says 'video does not exist' when you click the 'youtube link' below the video rectangle

I can't decide to join you in your experiment without having watched the video, so please fix it
thanks

I feel that most are fake, but I do believe Edgar Cayce was the real deal, and therefore I believe the aether can be tapped into potentially. I kept a dream journal for 3 years and a couple of related instances occurred that felt like premonitions, but it could be random chance.
An intersting study for what it's worth, of course there are just as many disproving too.

Peace

Such a small amount are talented at what they do.

Id say there are " peformers" who are stage psychics and mediums, and just in it to make a quick buck and to entertain and maybe get " certain" things right from time to time.

Then there are the bulk of psychics who are probably not that talented. So its hit and miss with them. So it isnt prove of the " psychich ability" they probably account for 80% of psychics.

Then there are psychics in every day life, who probably dont even have any interest in the metaphysics or anything to do with this kinda stuff. But their accuracy is amazing..

Then you have this 20% of genuine psychics ...

my opinion.

Some are real, some are fake. The fake ones are worse than crooks, as they are pretending to be honest and helpful. Edgar Cayce was a good wider-public example of a real one. But like with much in life, you have to test it our for yourself. A simple explanation is that psychic events or knowledge usually come as a by-product of training, and aren't an end in themselves. They are fun to confirm though, and with training you should actually just accept them as normal, with the "Oh, that's an interesting one" every now and then.

Ectoplasm has been proven to be based on fraud. Many mediums had used methods of swallowing and regurgitating textile products smoothed with potato starch and in other cases the ectoplasm was made of paper, cloth and egg white or butter muslin. Because ectoplasm was believed susceptible to destruction by light, the possibility that ectoplasm might appear became a reason for making sure that Victorian séances took place in near darkness. Poor lighting conditions also became an opportunity for fraud, particularly as faux ectoplasm was easy to make with a mixture of soap, gelatin and egg white, or perhaps merely well-placed muslin.

But I do think Colin Fry is a doll!

I was very very skeptical about psychics ... until i saw the TV program called
"Sensing Murder", those two in that series are just breathtakingly accurate!

If the TV series is not faked then at least the psychics on there are definitely not fake.

I use to believe it was a fake and of the devil until I saw someone on TV healing a horse by waving over its aura. I tried what I saw on TV to heal my wife's headache and it worked. Then I just read and practised myself and meditated and new talents came to me. It is like learning a song a few chords at a time until you learn a whole song. Empathic/Healing and Psychometry are my talents. I usually do it for free or whatever they want to give so basically it is a hobby. I think there are more fake that real ones out there.

I believe in survival but am a strong critic of the spiritualist hypothesis when they come out against gays. Most mediums are gay becusae they have reincarnated so many times as women it sticks. Ask me!

The older mediums used to use fake ectoplasm, dolls, cheese-cloth, cloth or muslin etc and the new mediums just perform cold reading, hypnotism or cheat and look into records etc of their audience. I see nothing of value in Spiritualism but dishonesty.

Value =dishonesty? Did I say that?

Some are real, most of them are fake and just trying to scam easy money asking a set of what seems like random questions that reveal things but theres always ways to test them which makes it fun
