Guess people did not want to THROW AWAY their vote!

Hey I got an idea, get Michael Moore to make a movie bashing a 3rd party candidate, and they might win the next election! Also get a bunch of has-been rockers to have a hate concert against that candidate. Sure recipe for a win!

Yes but at least the people who voted for them, voted for their candidate.

I would have considered doing so if.....

I agree.

I might not agree with your choice but at least you voted for the man you thought best for the Job and I have to respect that. The ones that say I am voting for the lesser of two evils I cant understand.

As for us getting less than one percent you can look at that a couple different ways

One way is how much did each vote cost? We spent less than one million of OUR OWN money while thew Big Two spent over 500 million of TAX PAYERS money not even including the FREE air time the net works gave them.

We spent less than 2 dollars a vote while the Big two spent a LOT more once you factor the free air time, stuff like the swift boat veterans, etc.

If the playing field was even close to even you would have seen a different election

Agreed:

If everone knew the Libertarians existed and what they stood for 7 days ago: They would be president

The media is the key, controll it and you controll the majority of the people.

EDIT:

There is no bad publicity

The only bad publicity,

I voted for Badnarik this year given the choices I had. If the choices don't change in 4 years - I'll do the same again.

Something to think about Carseller - I have had more people ask me about the Libertarian party this year than at anytime. People are looking for a change because the Big Two no longer represent them.

Don't count us out - we are just getting started.

I voted for Badnarik in Lousiana for my first eligible election ever. My vote will count for a long trend in the days ahead. I am not swayed by the proposition of "jumping on the bandwagon." I believe Libertarians stand up to fight what is wrong in America. The political duo, Bush and Kerry, have effectively divided this nation and created an election of Anti-. From what I can gather, it seems that no voters are entirely behind either candidate in the bulk of their issues. The majority of votes were cast in the hopes of creating an America that is not in the image of the opposing candidate while settling for the negatives from their choice.

I believe that by even considering a third party is a wasted vote is you conceding that the two candidates have already won their control over America. That the people can never fight injustice, and that we are ultimately left to settle for broken promises.

That is why I stand for Liberty. Look at Bush's speach today for example, he considered his voter's "political capital" to extend his will. NOT to extend your will, what does that tell you?

untill people stop wasting thier votes on the lesser of 2 evils and the A.D.D. affected media somehow overcome thier blindness....3rd parties will not get a chance. the liberterian party is the only 3rd party that would have a chance to bring america together and get off the world s#$t list.

how can a 3rd party compete againt 500 million dollar budgets..which of course include a generous helping of our tax dollars. AMERICA is a slave to the true almighty and his son...big bussiness and the DOLLAR...

well i guess there is always next time.......or will there be a next time this time????

Pitty I think.

All that this country can do for itself, and yet many allow just 2 parties to represent almost 300 million people from every walk of life and nationality.

The Libertarian party can compete against 500 million dollar budgets as long as people respect the party, and are willing to give time for what they respect.

Like me, Im going to start my "local libertarian campaign" now. Im going give a little information to those in my area who want another option (theres tons here in hawaii, who only voted democrat because we ohnestly thought kerry had a shot).

Im going to tell everyone in my area who hates income tax(alot of people) that voting Libertarian will get rid of the IRS completely. I'll tell them ww.lp.org to research on their own, and I'll ask questions if they ask me.

Word of mouth advertisement is the most effective, and it cannot be purchased (well, I guess it can), only earned.
