I agree with that but because of the lack of material from the beginning we don't know what transpired to que the officer to come out and talk to X.

Actually I am not missing anything here.

At the beginning of the video, X clearly states they are getting ready to shoot a video of some sort. Perhaps a rap video or some other completely legal type of video. The -true- point is, which is being missed completely here with additional banter, is that it doesn't matter why they are shooting a video. It is not against the law.

Furthermore, when the officer approached the man, he clearly states, "Excuse me sir..." This is how an officer approaches someone for the first time of interaction. If there had already been words between the two, the police officer would have:

1) Already made his identity clear.
2) Not have initiated the conversation with an "Excuse me sir. He would have already made initial contact and would have been more of a "Hey you, Didn't I tell you..."

You are grasping at ghosts that are not there. This video seems very clear when you break it down. There is no room for conjecture here.

I had to login for this one. First off I live near Fayetteville, NC where this event took place and I go into the liquor stores every once in awhile.

As I was watching this video I thought that pig looked familiar and then I came to realize it did in fact take place in fayetteville.

That plain clothed cop is just that, a plain clothed cop. One day I walked into the store to get a pint of cap'n, and I noticed an unmarked tinted out hidden antenna police charger parked off to the side.

As I walked in the store that guy, specifically 100% sure that very same police officer was standing behind the counter in almost identical clothing. I made small talk with him about his car outside complimented him on it, what I was really trying to say is I smelled the bacon as soon as I parked my car if you get my meaning.

Also, fayetteville officers are not nice at all, if you even make a smart remark to them they'll try to ruin your day, but yea that cop is way out of line.

I just wanted to verify for those here as local witness testimony that man is in fact an officer of the local force. He's usually 'watching' the liquor stores and some gas stations.

Even with that story, it in no way identifies him as a cop. rent-a-cops, liquor inspectors, etc, all drive vehicles that can easily be mistaken for a cop car.

Thats kind of the point. They want you to *think* they are a cop.

Ill put it like this: If he is a cop, he sure acts like a rent-a-cop. And if he is a cop, he should be kicked off the force.

If i was guy X,i and there Was only iced tea in that can-i would insist on a blood test when i got to the police station-and then sue rent-a-cop into the next dimension-and make sure it reached a global audience.

Has the feel of a setup to me. Just my two cents, but how do we know what happened before the filming?

Looks pretty straight forward to me. They were standing in a parking lot waiting for someone, the cop feels stupid because he thought the guy was drinking an alcoholic drink, goes into a rage and arrests him for "trespassing".

If something occurred before the filming I'm sure the cop would have mentioned it, not pulled "trespassing" out of his head randomly.

You may very well be correct in this. Just trying to keep an open mind, that's all.

That little snippet doesnt tell us much. That is the usual problem with these videos, people only filming what they want to see then posting it. I said the same thing in another thread, actually two other threads involving white people. One moron (white person) was getting a ticket for smoking on a beach and another decided to film the cop writing a ticket.

From the way it looks drinking in that parking lot may be a common occurrence. ...amongst other things. One thing i never understood is why be anti-cop when the police are a poormiddle class persons best asset.

Without police (although in this case security guard) rich people will just hire their own protection and poor people, lower middle class (like me) will just be fed off of. I think they call that cutting off your nose to spite your face.

BUT if he was just drinking an iced tea then no reason to ask him anything about that, just looks like there is more to it.

You know I'd not thought about that. Well if his goal was to look like a cop he did a pretty good job. I seem to remember some type of ID card on his belt, like a grayish blue color, but I don't remember any part of seeing a badge.

I guess he could have been a rent a cop, seemed like a convincing one to me. But he did give off that self-centered aura of smug authority like the cops do anyways.

Very true, though, in my experience, rent-a-cops are often worse, as most are police force washouts. Theyve got the attitude and a chip on their shoulder.

Either way, from what the video shows, he was clearly in the wrong, and should be prosecuted as such.

I just have to say I find your excuses for this abuse of authority to be disgusting.

Is it cause the guy's black? If he had been a rich white guy would you still side with the rent-a-cop?

Excuse me, could you point out where I said it's "cause he's black". Thanks in advance.
and yes, if the rules were reversed I'd still ask the same questions and give the same responses.

By the way, drop the bait, I'm not taking it.. It is you that is appalling for making such absurd claims.

I didn't say you did, I asked if that was the reason, but it seems pretty obvious to me.

Why else would you side with a guy abusing his claimed authority? It's pretty obvious the guy is in the wrong.

BTW those who say we're not seeing the whole story, it looks like the guy is just getting out of his car at the beginning, so it's possible that we are seeing all there is to see. It's not like we haven't seen people who like to throw their supposed authority around before.

Well, he seems to have a problem with authority. In my real life experiences those with rap sheets often have a problem with authority. :/

Sorry bud, I call it like I see it. Inner city since I was a kid. I've learned to read between the lines. BTW, I would've said the same thing if he was white. So why be a douche and try throwing the race card out on me?

ETA: read between the lines because I know where you were getting at with the rap sheet comment :/
The same goes for ANOK, quit being a douche and subtly playing the race card.

He's an admitted stormfront member, that's all you need to know.

Kindly prove I'm an admitted storm front member. Danke in advance.

Just because you don't like what I have to say doesn't mean you can go coining me racist. Because that's what you are doing, subtly. I'm not stupid nor naive.

Marinate on that.
