Sunrise/Sunset, Post Your Photos

Okay, so I thought with all the bad things that have happened lately, a little beauty is in order to get us in balance. Too much negative input is really bad for the spirit!

I would like to see sunrise or sunset pictures you have taken yourself. I don't want pictures from magazines, or anything like that.

Let's see if we can brighten the mood around here.

Here are just a few of mine. I have others, if I can locate them.
I missed capturing a beautiful sunrise on the way home this morning because I didn't have my camera!

Good idea. Will be back later to post some!

Here's one from my backyard.

We have a beautiful family cabin that we adore appropriately set on Sunrise LK ... the sunsets are amazing never mananged to catch a sunrise yet tho, must put that on my to do list for this year! The first picture is on the St Lawrence River Clayton NY. I added a little of the wild life we see on a daily basis.

And finally, Tofino BC. I love this pic as the object leaving that contrail seemed to a rocket.

Through the binoculars, we could make out the fire burning out of the bottom. So done a bit of investigating when we got home and some guy contacted me to say it was just a plane taking off. Thing is Tofino is the end of the road, literally, looking West, as we were, the next civilisation would be Hawaii

I'm going to have to find the disk where I saved a bunch of mine when I cleaned off my computer. I've moved twice since I packed it up, so wish me luck. I know I have more.

Thanks to everyone for sharing. Looking at these views does lift one's spirit, right? We live on a beautiful planet!

I am enjoying all of these pictures from all who contributed them but I have to say your rear window pic is fabulous. What a great shot, such an interesting perspective!
