Perhaps you should get more informed about each of the candidates strategies, John Kerry would continue the war on terror except that he planned to get allies involved, and George W. Bush has a new administration so we don't necceessarily know what to expect. Let's see YOU as President.

There are other parties. They just don't get to participate in debates, or get any financial backing. So, they get no publicity, and people are too ignorant to even look at them, for the most part. The two dominant parties have done a fine job in keeping their monopoly on gov.

Actually Nader got a 1% in the popular vote, but due to the electorial college system it makes it nearly impossible for a 3rd party to win.

I have come to figure that the majority of the individuals on this forum live in a different reality. Many of you look at the world through a television screen and whacked out websites. I find myself and consequently my co-workers get numerous laughs at the sheer idiocy of posts that come from the doomsayers on here.

To the Europeans: I have had the pleasure to live in Europe for a short time and found that I liked it. I generally found most Europeans to be civil and kind, even though I was an American and not the famed Canadian. However, I try to see your points within these myriad of posts saying how Americans are stupid for electing George Bush, and I can't see it. If you are so worried about our politics, one must start to form the opinion that Europe's days of world power is now over. I recall not long ago, that it was an extremely proud and determined people that rebuked an overwhelming force in World War 2. Has that pride been washed out of your blood? Perhaps, you should look to your own governments so that your leaders can get your countries back to the days of your now faded glory instead of looking at us.

To the Americans: Our greatest document gives you the right to voice your opinions. I appreciate it that most people relish and utilize that right, however, some of you have past the line of commonsense and have fell into the realms of absurdity. Speak as you wish for that is your right, but know that some of the individuals--all the individuals I have shown this site to anyways--that stand ready to defend that right, are only laughing at your farfetched ideas and wondering if it would be so bad if some of you were drafted. Particularly since reality doesn't seem to hit you in the face while watching television, but perhaps if you could see the utter hatred for you in your enemies eyes, it might stick.

He has no choice but to continue it now, but I'm confident he'd try to end it. Have you seen the footage of Kerry leading the protest against the VeitNam war? He is anti-war. There's no doubt about it.

I can't be president. I don't have millions of dollars and I don't know the right people to get me into the circle in the first place. Why do you think third parties can't even compete?

Pardon me, but you've never had any common sense, if you think everything is still fine and dandy. I don't watch much television, but I do use the web for news sources. What do you use? I suppose you only watch American TV and read American newspapers? Where else can you possibly get information? What in the hell makes you think you're so much more informed about "reality"? You appear to be one more fool in denial, to me. I would laugh at you, but you piss me off too much. Why? Because I am a patriot, and I know our system is a mockery of what America was intended to be.
Our enemies have good reason to hate us. We've been aiding their enemies for ages now. Not because we're nice people, but because it benefited us in some way, financially.

I am very thankful that for every hard-core supporter of both candidates there are thousands of us who participate in elections and society without hostility towards those who disagree with us.

To claim someone is stupid for casting a vote for a certain candidate is absurd. I voted for Bush and my sister voted for Kerry. I do not think she is a moron. She, in turn, does not think I'm stupid.

It's all of the name calling from both sides, not our current leader, that makes me wonder about the welfare of our country and its future.

Feel free to protest and express your views and opinions, just do it intelligently. If it bothers you so much that you truly believe that over half of the country is dumb because of who they voted for, then leave. Personal attacks due nothing but get you elected. To truly allow people to understand your point of view, you need to talk to them, not at them.

Well, I don't know what to say to that other than "your very welcome".

When I look back on these last four long years, I think to myself that maby I could of done more by lingering around weblogs like this all day spouting (dare I say "bigoted") blind hatred back at the eurofruits and our own domestic pinko marxist luv'in liberals and "progressives". But I learned on Tuesday that I can apply all that hateful energy towards something else more productive, and still be able to express the utter lack of value I place upon their asenine opinions by marking a little blank spot on ballot for Bush and Cheny. I'm not saying it was the most important reason why I voted for them, but it was certainly on the top five on my list.

And to all of our fair weather friends with their half-assed two faced alliances on the other side of the Atlantic, all I have to say to you is this: You can call America dangerous, terrorist, belligerent (my personal favorite ), moronic, unenlightened or whatever creams your twinkies at the moment, but one thing you fruitcakes will never be able to call America is "yours".

The day Europe comes into trouble of its own is the same day I conveniently turn into an obstructive pacifist.

well crazy horse thank you for that rather...........colourful description of your closest allies and friends. instead of getting into an argument with you i will let you think what you want to think. altough i do suggest you visit europe , look into the history you'll find many things that might change your mind on a few issues.

we europeans are proud, we have faught in every country in the world, we have seen war. we have lived with it on our doorsteps more than 5 times, this is why IMOO most countries do not like the US.
the US has never exsperienced what , a real threat is like. sure the russians were a taster but when bombs are dropping every day on cities with people in them and you cant stop them you discover the true meaning of a threat. If the chinese go to war with the US then i think it will be a valuable lesson to be learned.
i have no bad blood with you americans personally, i have many reasons to hate you but many reasons to like you. take the incident today, 3 of our soldiers were lost and AMERICAN medical staff helped us.we have exchanged fire,tech,insults and trade. yet many on both sides think they are the best and the rest are wrong.
after 60+ years of alliance and comrade ship people on both sides behave arogantly. Why? because its nationalism, thier country is the best and all others are not equal.
we worry about the US because we have seen what a country like yours does once it has power, it becomes ambitios. take france during the reneciase. the french became too ambitios and were defeated.

why the money on the large army? why not have a small exspertly equipped and exspertly trained army? why not look inward instead of outward?

While the US has not gone through the strife that many "mature" countries have, please do not think that we haven't gone through our fair share of threats. No matter what party you believe in, we are a primary source of terrorism.
