MOBILE, Ala (WALA) - The Mobile Fire and Rescue Department said units are on scene on east side of Mobile River where a fuel barge has exploded and is on fire. Lt. Mike Clawson says a natural gas barge exploded this evening around 8:30 p.m. It happened between the Bankhead Tunnel and waterways. Members of the Coast Guard are on the scene investigation the cause. Officials said no one died, but some of crew reported burn injuries. FOX10 News crews are heading to the scene and will have more on FOX10 News at 9 p.m.
