Just found out a family member, and close childhood friend, has cancer.

Of COURSE it makes me sad. Of COURSE it hurts like hell to think about. Of COURSE I love her like a sister. She and I fought a lot growing up, but who cares.

I knew things have been a little too "easy" going lately...

And she has a five year old son. My little cousin.

Ugh... I feel sick...

Well, you know what? As much as I rant and rave about my jaded past and being jumped in middle school, my life, while being a little crooked and scarred, has not been unbearable.

I am mean. A bad natured little deviant. I cuss like a sailor. I've hurt people a lot... on accident, or in retaliation. But its in my nature. I AM the girl in my avatar. But I've learned to embrace pain. My suffering and pain has never been too much for me to handle. I am, if nothing else, wickedly strong.

The only unbearable, torturous thing I CAN'T stand is to watch loved ones suffer.

Not because I'm a good person, not because I particularly care for some people or another, and not because I think I can redeem myself by having pity on others. No.

If I was there, I would have hung myself on that damn cross.

I don't LIKE seeing people SUFFER.

Because I haven't always been mean and battle hardened. I used to be sweet, sensitive, and innocent. To watch the world ruin, hurt, and corrupt people drives me insane. I don't want anyone being torn apart.

I would KILL to prevent that.

It always takes something traumatic for the best to come out in me.

That's pathetic.

Here's how I feel;

But you know what? If nothing else, the very LEAST I can do to honor my loved ones is dedicate myself to the war on tyranny. Just more fire under me to keep me moving.

That's all.

It's been said a certain oil kills cancer cells.

My prayers go out to your cousin.

Best wishes for your cousin. Life has a strange way of handing things out, funny how different things would be if we actually had any say in it. Stay positive and supportive for your cousin, maybe that's what your role is supposed to be, seeing as your the battle hardened person you describe. You have the ability to be strong when most would be weak.

Great song btw!

My dad died from lung cancer.

He was a remarkable human being that wasted away in his last days.

The god damn nurses pumped him so full of morphine that he couldn't talk.

He couldn't say goodbye to us. All he did is stare at each and every one of us.

Then a few hours until he passed he kept staring upward.

It was a god damn travesty for him to go like that.
You could see in his eyes, "Get me the hell out of here"

My dad hated drugs that took away your control and he was
scared #less of the manner of his passing.
There was no peace, only hell up until the end.

They just kept giving him morphine to null the pain.
My dad was a #ING warrior and would've endured the pain
if it meant he could say his last words.

A god damn crime against a good man, and it is the reason why I still can't sleep over it.
It leaves me haunted.

I wonder what he would have said.
I wanted so bad to hear his voice.

I don't care what people have to say about it.
What is there to say about it?
The last person on this Earth who ever listened to me is gone.
He didn't deserve that death!

Sorry to hear about your cousin.

Make the best of it.

And please tell her not to drink the motor oil.

I am sorry for my selfish lamentation, but everytime I think about cancer I think about my dad
and it stops me in my tracks!

No worries, this is a rant forum, rant away... I'm sorry about your father. Find peace in yourself.

He doesn't want you to twist in agonizing limbo either.

You can NOT let that eat you alive. Your life will fade from existence before you have a chance to live it.

Also, thank you very much for the feedback, guys... I wasn't planning on giving her motor oil.

Well wishes to your cousin and family.

My cousin was just diagnosed with Hodgkin's caner. About a month ago. It's a blood cancer. She's young and healthy and their hopeful she will get better. She's in the 80% range, last I heard, for beating this and going into remission. It started with growths on her chest and arms though.

I've a similar growth on my arm - as to the one's she showed me in pictures. So I've an appointment, for a referral on the 29th. I'm hoping it's benign.

It's a tough thing - being sick. But that doesn't stop us from getting better, and/or enjoying the time we have left. I hope your cousin is able to get better.

I'm sorry to hear about your cousin Jewel, cancer is tough....I believe the body can fight off any illness if one knows what they are doing and not running off to doctors for treatment. Most don't care about your well being and just want to make money. My dear aunt had breast cancer, she cured herself through alternative approach. Eating healthy, special herbs, meditation and some other stuff and never went through chemo. My thoughts and prayers go out to your cousin and hope everything will be okay.

Oh, I'm sure there are lots of cures (or at least medicines that help better than radiation). But they can't tell you that. A patient cured is a customer lost.

What really strikes me is, she doesn't seem worried at all. Its almost like she doesn't care.

The only thing she's worried about is her son, which is understandable...

UGGGHH! This whole thing makes me wanna puke.

One patient cured, the entire world cured. I'm positive there is a cure, more than one but then again it won't benefit them. These days a doctors definition is corrupted, they are more like business man than for the best interest of man. That makes me
..

I second what Lysergic said.

Also, www.abovetopsecret.com... give this a skim through.

But most of all, remember that all will be well in time. Remain positive, as hard as it may be, and be there for your cousin and the rest of your family.

Your cousin is in my prayers for a recovery.

My prayers are with your cousin, I really hope she gets better.
There are alternative medicines around try them.

There was some threads here some time ago about a doctor who could and did cure cancer (without radiation or chemo), it is said he cured many people and it is also said they are trying to shut him down, but can't mainly because of the number of people he cured.

Search him out threads should be somewhere here or something out on the web, if he is still practicing it might make all the difference.

Also it has been said a lot that changing diet can help cure or least lessen cancer, that doctor also makes patients change diet, so could be another viable method.

theres this option..

then theres the theory that Chemo needs to be lined up with which ever side of the sun you were born..

one in four chance of chemo working.. four cycles of the sun..
