That makes absolutely no sense...what you are essentially saying is that there will in no point in the future where the government denies it citizens their freedom. Ironically it's already happening and have been for quite some time how is that not obvious? It might not be the north korea type of obvious, but every restriction applied to those who have committed no sins is quite literally a deprivation of freedom?

Nah, I'm pretty sure it's going to happen. They just got to move slowly. Too many still have weapons, and not enough laws are passed yet, for complete martial law to take over.

Alright, but who is "they"? The president changes every 4/8 years. Congress also has term limits. So who is this evil government individual that is trying to make us slaves? It obviously isn't the same people from 20 years ago, so now it's just the current individuals trying to do so?

I respect your opinion. My question to you would be why now? Why wait until 2013 to do this? Surely there have been better times for the government to enact a total take over. Before the internet I feel like it would have been fairly easy.

If a person many, many years ago was willing to brainwash and kill people just because of a hatred towards jewish people, why is it so hard to understand that there are people like that today? you're right, you can't get everything from the internet. unlike yourself, I draw most of my conclusions from life experiences and education. i don't sit in the dark recesses of my mind and continuously come up with more outlandish scenarios in an effort to defend my point of view.

i'm still looking for an explanation that requires the armed response of 70,000 personnel, but is an isolated event. the number you're throwing around is almost half of what we had deployed to Iraq during the surge in 2007. it's also close to half of what we had deployed to Afghanistan at the highest point of troop level. so you're telling me that there would be an event requiring almost half the number of people the government deployed to a combat theater, entire countries mind you, but that it would be an isolated event and allow the massive drawn down of manpower in neighboring areas? pure fantasy my friend.

Think about it. They mobilized about 10,000+ "troops" (SWAT, police etc) of various kinds in the matter of a few hours.

They took over the streets with their armored vehicles, assault rifles and black outfits. And the sheep chanted USA, USA...

Mission accomplished. Martial law and the sheep loved it.
