National Guard is only called in for natural disasters or for major, large scale civil disturbances, like riots and large scale mayhem. I've never
heard of them being involved in the apprehension of suspects or assisting law enforcement on manhunts like this. I can see state, federal, and local
law enforcement all jumping in and getting involved in an intense man hunt. But the national guard is not law enforcement, is is a state's military.
So if it is indeed the case, and the National Guard has indeed been called up and is currently involved, then no, this is FAR FROM NORMAL. In fact,
it's pretty friggin weird. Unless whatever is going on in Massachusetts has evolved beyond a manhunt into something bigger. Either way, it's pretty
disturbing.
Any way you can confirm the presence of National Guard?
