Oh how my heart doth sing! President Bush is still our Commander and Chief and the Republicans have increased their numbers in both the House and the Senate. With that stacked deck President Bush can move in the heavy hitters and reclaim our Supreme Court. Maybe we can finally put an end to Roe verses Wade and give life back to our children. In any case, we can at least change the Supreme Court balance and stop our former liberal Justices from constantly, reinterpreting our, living Constitution!

God bless America!

So now the republicans can "reinterpret" the constitution to their liking...

Republicans aren't the only ones who have made changes to the constitution. Have you ever heard of amendments? Yeah, we sure do have a lot of those.

Don't worry herman your problems will start when they ban sex and monday football.

Take a good look around you and the liberties you still have now, by the time your kids be around they will have none and the constitution will be obsolete.

Actually, no, not all Republicans are fundamentalists. I was glad to see Senator Arlen Specter caution Bush not to try to overturn Roe vs. Wade.

I hope they do overturn Roe vs Wade.

Personal Freedom comes with Personal Responcibility. But here comes Marg with her "Christians are taking over the world and are bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad badbadbad people".

Must suck to have so much intellectual power trapped up in that little ol' body of yours.

So angry.

What exactly would you do about it? We are on a slippery slope here, but your side has lost that memory. It should not have been accepted in the first place and now we have government funded murder.

Tell you what. You want to travel to Mexico and risk having a van procedure, then maybe a little respect would be earned.

Your whole arguement is rediculous and certainly falls inline with the "do as you please and # the consiquences" school of thought.

Hardly social behavior.

Sorry krazyJethro but when the government start to control the women female parts our rights as women will be lost, we will become at the mercy and misuse of men and the government, and that is what a lot of people does not understand is not about killing babies is about controling women because men can not control themself or MR happy.l

Grow up Jethro I am a proud mother of a 20 year old young women and a 18 year old young man, I am fighting now for my daughters and my grandchildren in the future rights.

The people wants to control "abortions" but still wants to remaind "sexually free" we have a conflict here, education and protection not legislation of women's private parts, I don't see a ban on anything male, but I see a lot of "male buster for better performance" propaganda.

I don't think bush will ban abortion just partial birth abortion... And their should be some regulations on the aborting after 5-8 wks...

Many women use it as form of birth control and other use it because their selfish and don't want to have to give a baby up for adoptoin...

Adoption is very important it helps make the world go round, to parrents that can't conceive to parents that want to adopt something that didn't come from their own bodies..

There was a teenage girl in detroit who delivered the baby in the hospital bathroom and tried to flush it down the toilet... she wouldn't unlock the door so the docs could get at her, she took it into her own hands and killed the baby...

you can't outlaw abortion fully because women will go abck to using hangers or using unregistered doctors... it would be messy...

All i'm saying is there needs to be a line drawn, just like there is with every other issue that is a big deal.

i also think that you should have a psychiatric examination before you own a pet so the animal doesn't have to endure abuse and an unstable unpredicatbale individual...

The world is unfair, and we need to HELP make it fair for the innocent and law abiding citizens...

Oh but aren't we sooo concerned with the rights of the Iraqi and Afghan women?
Isn't that why we are fighting so they have rights to be free?
Why don't American women have the right to be free, make their own choices?

These women don't go to abortion clinics with the responsible male party with them, they go alone, thats why they are there!!!

Men have the right to walk away from an unwanted pregnancy!!!

No guilt.......

Women are called murderers, and more than likely never called by the man that got them pregnant.

men never have to look back

I agree with you truelies and tesla,

Nobody wants to kill littler babies but when the politicians starts to legislate women that is when my problem comes, we are supoused to be better but women still do abortions, we are supouse to have freedom but the religious fundamentalist wants to control how to prevent sexual freedom.

Our priorities are misplacd in our society.

And yes is pleanty of babies waiting for adoption but only a fraction get to go to a good home must fo this babies become lost in the system going from one foster home to another, because most people wants healthy cute babies and a poor crack babie does not look cute.

And that is the realities in our country. WE should protect the children that we have "born" now.

Of course our priorities are messed up in this country. People will take freedom in lieu of responcibility rather than having rights and responcibility.

This is not only obvious in the abortion department, but more overall.

As for Growing up Marg. I am a father of two, soon to be three children myself. I am about as grown as I'm going to get in that regard. I think of them every day.

I understand the idiocy of many in my camp. They only seek to address A problem without looking beyond to the repercussions.

We not only need to fix our economy, but they way we spend money, take care of children, etc.

Should we simply eliminate abortion, the backlash would be devisatating. We need to think of better plans for the future than to meerly maintain our current situation.
