For what? Obama is about to sign an executive order

Just for all of you to know I am a Dem, but that does not mean i support nor defend what my own party does, if anything it makes me ashamed. For we the Dem's should be defending Democracy, not trying to shred it and this is shredding it beyond belief, this is not Constitutional nor is it right to ban or impeded any ones right because of a few. What this does is make one guilty before being innocent, proving your fit and legal to own buy or posses is saying your guilty of something.
Am I steamed you bet, for it is common sense Bad guys do not care about laws or rules or regs, that is what makes them bad guys!!! If they want something they get it and no law will prevent that.

By the way, I am a political scientist by trade. Studying legislation is what I do for a living. Guess what? Everyone who actually works in policy knew this would go no where, for a variety of reasons. The vote was never going to go through, its purpose was to create political symbolism. Everyone knew it, except apparently the people on ATS trying to fear monger everyone that the government was going to take their guns. There is whats called a "POLICY WINDOW" to get through changes in public policy (see: John Kingdon, et. al.) and there is not enough room for gun reform AND immigration reform. Everyone knew this. Gun reform was always symbolic.

Last thing I have to say about this: I love how instead of addressing the evidence were now turning to personal attacks and everything else to deflect the truth here...hitting a little to close to home for comfort, are we?

The fact that a tragedy continues to be wielded as a weapon of political and social terrorism against the people of the US?

Even yesterday, in the wake of the worst bombing on American soil since 9/11, President Obama was out there demonstrating that his obsession with gun control is uncontrollable. There are so many other issues he should be focusing on.

And it's clear - yes - politicians like Feinstein, Bloomberg, Schumer et al do want to "take our guns away". They just so happened to fail in doing so, for now.
If anyone should apologize, it ought to be them.

and the fact that these "gun" massacers always seem to occur in "Gun Free" areas

Im about 2 seconds from being one of these ignorant buttheads who makes such comments as " its an inside job" at every opportunity. So I know how they think... because I walk on the border. And its a mixture of small minded paranoia and quite frankly they amuse me ...But they are NOT to be taken seriously, not ever.

Then again I kinda like following their ramblings, they see things/meanings in the most obscure things. Its like journeying into the twilight zone.
