God knows what is going on because He has angels that go around and see what is happening, then go back and give a report in Heaven.
ME:
Is God all-knowing?
CHRISTIAN:
Yes.
God is knowing the light . . .
That was necessary for a miraculous beginning of Christianity of having legitimacy of divine intervention and saving events, like the resurrection of Jesus and the previous saints who rose with him.
Why was God so quick to reveal himself and openly speak with people in "biblical times" but now we hear and see nothing?

That's how the Bible explains it.
The other stuff is the lingering effects of the Medieval church/state conglomeration that had to thoroughly terrorize the population in order to get compliance to its authority.edit on 20-4-2013 by jmdewey60 because: (no reason given)

God is knowing the light . . .
You are probably thinking of the material universe and are overwhelmed by it to where you imagine it as being God.
That is the beast, don't be fooled into thinking it is anything different.
God lives in the universe but as spirit beings, sort of like us but better, meaning they don't suffer from the same sort of desires as we do, not having material bodies like ours.
That leaves God somewhat unrestrained as to things that can be done which sort of transcends the material nature of the universe.
We call on God basically because of a long history of God helping people, and people being around for a long time, where it is pretty much included in our beings genetically.

Simple. God is imaginary and the bible is the directions for one to beleive in a fairey tale. Most Christians will argue this, when faced with overwhelming evidence it's imaginary. They will suspend reality as we know it to fit their stance. They simply ignore the passages in their book that relates to death and slavery and the like. They tend to use the ones they like and leave out all the rest. It can't be this way. To have to suspend reality in order to beleive in somthing is at best a farce. When the evidence we have say's there's no God , they just cant handle it. so they choose to not see the forest. Old testament, less than 500 verses dealing with prayer, less than 500 dealing with love, but over 2,500 dealing with money and possession's. Not my numbers, go to God Is Imaginary they have the stats. That's a website by the way. It;s for folks like me, who do not beleive in any of it, No matter the religion, Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Hebrew Etc Etc Etc. Some many religions and supposedly just one God. Go figure.edit on 20-4-2013 by openyourmind1262 because: (no reason given)

Well spoken, sir.
I hope you, too, will consider posting your experience with religion in the link in my signature.
There is so much diversity among us who participate in this forum -
We need to listen to each other, weigh all of this stuff, and come to a consensus of some kind of common ground. From there, perhaps we can work TOGETHER to heal the awfulness of this world.

You call on God because you are full of fear.
. . . CANNOT be factually proven nor dis-proven. . . . .
