Ohhh man, I sure hope they do. I can't say for sure that they will not be met with some angry Bostonians mixed in with a healthy dose of Southie and Dorchester residents with your less than the average sense of restraint but I would encourage them to go and test the waters...but I can't see this turning out well for them.

Anonymous has put out a blurb basically saying, no. I was unaware that they hacked them before so perhaps they will get the hint. It's a shame that such hate falls under the guise of free speech...damn loopholes...

Link

For the life of me I cannot understand why they think that this is what god want regardless of you view on religion. As a human being how do they justify this behavior and I would love to know if this is now more for the attention versus the tenants of their faith...

Unfortunately, this cannot be outlawed. Let the people grieve in peace. IMHO religion is one of the reasons this worlds is so upside down. But WBC takes it to a whole new level. These guys are bat crap crazy. I hope they get what's coming to them, what ever that might be.

As for Anon hacking them, yeah, I heard them live on the Radio. The were on, I think, it was Coast to Coast. The host was interviewing the Anon spokesman and the WBC spokesperson. As usual WBC were spewing non sense and cutting off Anon every time he tried to speak. Anon warned them a couple of time until he had enough. He took a pause and when he came back Anon told WBC their site was down and to go take a look. It was down and it was pretty funny.

Boston is the LAST city they should go to if they want to keep life and limb. VERY emotional city amidst heavy emotion right now. Good luck.

The leaders of Westboro Baptist Church and I suspect most of its followers...are...

superficial, shallow, slimy, vile thinkers and doers. They represent the worst parts of humanity.

I really don't know how they can sleep at night.

Edit: This is my opinion.

I'm tired of this cult.

But I am glad they keep spouting off absurd claims so hopefully people will hear them and it'll prevent people from joining them.

They are insane. I'm going to a conference this weekend where Nate Phelps is going to be a keynote speaker - I am excited to hear what he has to say (he left the family at midnight on his 18th birthday and moved far, far away. Good for him!)

That tribe is DISGUSTING, and makes all of "Baptist" Christendom look HORRIBLE. I am aware they are not recognized by the reasonable and sincere people who actually try to follow Jesus' teachings and are instead seen as a hate group...
which they are.

Sad family indeed. Warped beyond repair. I'm glad one of the daughters has got out, too. And I hope she, her sister, and Nate continue to speak out AGAINST their deranged patriarch and his brainwashed offspring.

They breed their own members.

I want them to STOP spouting off absurd claims because they are besmirching EVERYONE who is an honest, sincere, loving Christian under the umbrella term "Baptist". Then again, Pat Robertson is every bit as bad. So is John Hagee. In my opinion.

WBC hates "outsiders" because they refuse the message.
"Outsiders" hate WBC because of their message.
"Christians" hate WBC because of the distortion of the message.
WBC hates Christians because WBC feels other Christians distorted the message.

Who does God hate? If I may, I want to answer for Him, but one should always ask for self... The rain falls on the just and unjust...

Maybe I am misreading everyone's disdain for hate but I see so much similarities in the tone of people's speech toward and from different group that I can't help but to conclude that the tones are just different shades of hate as none of the banter and dialogue help in the progress of humanity.

I'll optimistically say this: Although hate takes up so much space, when it leaves, there's so much room for love.

Emotions are so complex and absurd sometimes, yet it is intrinsic to the beauty of the ironic nature of the human experience.

Theyre not christians. Yes we may believe homosexuality is wrong but everyone falls short of the glory of God, not one person on this planet has ever not sinned except the Messiah Yeshua. Homosexuals are no longer homosexuals under Christ, they are washed and made clean and are able to repent (change their minds) of their former lifestyles. When they are tired of choosing death over life, then they will embrace the transformation. It's about desiring to be with our Master, when he is all you want nothing else matters.

Westboro are primarily the Phelps family and therye all lawyers looking to get a payday, hoping someone will lose their crap and get pissed off and assault them so they can turn around and sue them for money.

Yeshua taught to overcome evil with good, not fight fire with fire.

Peace.

Wrong. Christians don't hate the WBC, we reject their message as un-Christlike and decietful.

Christians should shun and denounce the WBC completely. They are absolutely evil. I heard Nate Phelps tell his story, live to an audience yesterday - they are sick, twisted, evil, and WRONG.

More on that later.

Westboro is really a non-event these days. People know how to deal with them now. You just need the volunteer "wall", which peacefully blocks out the Westboro gang from view of the mourners. Usually, once the Westboro gang sees the "wall", they leave because they know they won't be seen or heard by anyone that matters.

I agree with all that, I just don't agree with or advocate hatred.

Did you see what the motorcycle gang is doing to them in Boston? Making a wall and racing their engines so no one can hear their protests.

I love it.
