Boston Bomb Brings Back Memories Of Warrington Bombing.

After the tragic event in Boston yesterday, it brings back sad memories of the IRA bombing in Warrington in 1993. In a crowded shopping area the IRA had planted a bomb in a litter bin.The bomb detonated and sent panic stricken shoppers running right into the path of a second bomb which exploded a minute later in another litter bin. A 3 year old and 12 year old child where both killed and 54 others injured.

My heart goes out to all the victims and their loved ones of these horrendous acts of carnage no matter where they occur.

Yes the IRA had tried to blow up a gas storage holder about a month earlier in Warrington
