I know we all have our differing opinions and we know just about as little as possible but I've been waiting as many have for the terrorist type attacks to hit home and this just feels like the start of something much bigger.

Thanks for the link. Shows how spread out all of these reports are. Not a small area to canvas at all.

I saw Obama's speech,vague.
But at least i didnt hear this familiar speech,minus that date.

Yeah, a waste of time of him even making a statement. Remember who he is and what he has done to destroy the nation's faith in truth and justice.

I just heard on WGN Radio Chicago.. They said that some cell phone service is down in the Boston area? Has anyone else heard these reports?

Yeah they took the mobile network down in the area to stop other potential devices being detonated remotely

If anyone has any question about the picture that appears to be fake, I think this vid clears it up. Note the guy with the cowboy hat in the middle of the scene -- he appears to be helping his friend who has fallen, and then all kinds of personnel surround the downed soul. While you can't really make out the guy, he must have been pretty seriously injured, i.e. amputated, to have gotten so much attention so quickly.

The guy with the cowboy hat is then pictured along side the pour soul in the photo in question.

Just heard reports of a 'smoking package' on the scanner too, but didnt hear where report came from

BBC have Verizon and Sprint saying they have not received a request to shut networks down, but there is some "mild call blocking due to increased traffic."

Even though it was such a short, vague, no-brainer statement....he actually had to READ the whole thing...

One of the killed was an 8 year old child... anchorman cant get through the words.
