The JFK Library incident was NOT a fire - Boston Police has confirmed that there WAS an explosion at the library.

What remains unclear is whether the JFK library incident is the site of the 2nd explosion or the site of the 3rd explosion (controlled). Details remain unclear.

But I repeat - it was NOT a fire.

The third went off at the JFK Library

Yep.. Watching the press conference from Boston now...a third explosion did occur. They are saying this is ongoing and there may be more explosions to come.

My brother was running in the Marathon today along with a bunch of his friends in the Hampton Roads Runners. As far as I know by talking to his wife via facebook, they are all okay. I'm glad for that.

As far as who could have done this? I don't know. They weren't very powerful bombs, that kind of rules out Jihadists for me, their explosives are usually a bit better. I don't think NK could or would have anything to do with something of such a small scale. I was thinking some kind of accident, until they started reporting on other explosive devices being found. My guess is some guy with an Anarchist's Cookbook. I sure hope they don't use this to try and demonize Constitutionalits, Conspiracy Theorists, or otherwise harmless people.
