BREAKING:Explosion At Boston Marathon

I turned off the news; mostly interviews and repetition at this stage, so now it's time to see what we know.

1. We have two explosions, and it's unclear if the library fire was from one or not. A relative told me that the local news where she is said it wasn't an explosion there, but I didn't see that reported anyplace I looked. So, at least two explosions, and one bomb they detonated in a controlled manner.

2. There is a Saudi national being held as a "person of interest", or a "suspect", depending on who is talking and when you ask them. On FNC, after they announced (hours after the NY Post did) that he was a real suspect, they backpedaled, and called him a "person of interest" again. Either way, from their iffy reporting, I gathered that he was trying to enter the area before the blast (and why would that be an issue if he wasn't suspicious in some way?), he's here on a student visa, and it's being investigated as to whether he had fulfilled the requirements for the visa or not.

3. Someone in the thread reported hearing, in the live feed (link) about a Moroccan man with a bag being detained, and the police at whatever that location was calling for backup and an Arabic translator. I saw NOTHING on the news about it at all, which is curious. If we can monitor the live feed, surely the national media channels are doing the same.

4. One article talked about an APB for a yellow truck (Penske, I think it said), that reportedly tried to enter the scene, with whoever was in it claiming they had medical supplies. They apparently fled the scene after that. Nothing on the cable news channels on that, either - not a single word.

5. There seem to have been many security precautions taken, including, from many reports, bomb-sniffing dogs. If these dogs didn't detect anything, I think it's safe to assume that the bombs were placed by someone after the area was swept ,and probably very shortly before being detonated. The reported surveillance video of someone placing something from a backpack (or packs) into a trash can (or cans) could shed light on that. I have not heard a time for that video, however.

6. The way all of the media is behaving about this is a bit, well, odd, as it pertains to where blame should be assigned, or not. The very first thing I heard, in tuning in, was about this being a possible "domestic group". Then, they claim they have no suspects at all, even though the Saudi fellow has been reported. Next, they caution against people assuming it was some Islamic group or individuals. All in all, it seems they want us to consider anything BUT that, even with the Saudi and the Moroccan guys being discussed, and no comments about ANY other "persons of interest".

7. Apparently, the National Guard is being used there, and has been since at least 2009 (anyone know if they were earlier? - confirmation nice of so). As I posted just a bit ago, that doesn't seem to be a normal use for the Guard. So, were they there in recent years to make people used to seeing them at non-emergency times and places? link for basic info on that topic

8. The president spoke, and specifically avoided mentioning terrorism, and VERY soon after, a White House spokesman announced that their official position was "terrorism", even though those investigating still claim they have no suspects or motive yet. Later on, in re-airing that sport presidential speech, the talking head seemed to make a point of stating that "White House officials" stated "terrorism", but NOT stating that the president did.

9. We do not seem to know, one way or the other, if the library fire was related or not. If it was, a failure to detonate would indicate someone NOT a professional, OR the person who was supposed to do it being detained. If it was not related, then all such speculation is moot. Anyone have a clear update on that?

10. There has been some speculation about a man near the first explosion site, and another atop a building. Personally, I don't see anything weird about the first (but, please, if I missed something, details would be appreciated). The second could easily have been some local watching the event from a higher vantage point. Yes, he could also have been involved. Does any one know of they do security sweeps of buildings along the route, as they would for a presidential visit?

If I am missing any key points (very possible, since I didn't come in till 30-40 pages in), please add them on. After this much discussion, a summary seemed in order.

A flag at the scene of the blast that actually isn't a flag at all but a carry case for a chair---folks, we have ourselves a false flag on our hands.

The news I listened to, just the past half hour, confirmed some sort of BBs or something. Then they claimed they still didn't know how the bombs were detonated, which seems highly unlikely this far past the event.

Please...have you ever picked up evidence after a bombing? I am sure the answer is no...

They are STILL collecting evidence.at the scene.

My husband has some knowledge and experience with bombs (military), and his first reaction to that claim was, "Oh, BULLCRAP!". Direct quote. Hence the statement that it seems unlikely. There were only two explosions, and neither was very widespread. There is no reason they would not have the parts left by now. I suspect they aren't announcing that as part of the investigation, to keep quiet how much they know.

If you check on CNN, under the section “What we know”, the physicians have confirmed removing ball bearings from peoples wounds.
What We Know

-- The bombings resulted in at least 10 lost limbs and left doctors picking ball bearings out of victims in the emergency room, a terrorism expert briefed on the investigation said.

I did catch that information on another station, which means they have some good information on the basic makeup of the devices. Why they would not have a clue about detonation, I can't imagine. Really hope they get all involved with this - seems to have been done for maximum injury, of not fatality. Seriously sick.

The fact that no one (at least as far as we know) has taken any credit for this makes me wonder if it's not some unibomber type. No mater who it is, I can't help but feel there is more coming. Seriously hope I am wrong!

Spanish TV are reporting this as another explosion.. NOT a controled explosion, but another device going off.
A Spanish student running in the marathon said he heard what he thought was the "sound of large building falling down, but he did'nt think it was a bomb"..

Maybe a failed attempt at a controlled demolition 9/11 style..

Here is my question.

Was the police department indeed going to conduct a controlled explosion?

I didn't say anything about the "NWO" who are they, a wrestling team? I don't have the time or energy to sit here and search for links all day to show you the atrocities governments have committed on their people to brainwash the sheeple. And I'm not saying thats what happened here I was just mentioning how sometimes mine, and I'm sure many others minds are so distrustful of their keepers and would make flash judgements as I kinda did. After all we are going trillions into debt funding these multimillion dollar agencies (DHS, TSA, FEMA) that are taking our freedoms and not really protecting us as greatly as one would presume especially after today. Wouldn't it really show how dumb these agencies really are if some terrorist walked in under all their noses and mutilated so many innocent people?

Actually they are pretty darn good at what they do. The dogs being there and not hitting on this is a big issue.

I was the first to reply it was a chair. Sorry I didn't quote and reply correctly to their question. I hardly post on here and I'm not sure how it all works. It's especially difficult on a mobile device. But mainly because of replys like yours.

They seemed to have been at every event possible in the last 50+ yrs. Dogs are a huge part in keeping our Country Safe. It is extremely rare to have "small bombs" at an event like this. I cant think of a time when something like this has happened.

Dogs cant sniff a plane flying 500+ MPH towards a couple buildings. Dogs cant anticipate a Ryder truck filled with explosives blowing up a federal building.

But Dogs for sure, and Humans have guarded Major Sporting Events, Presidential Appearances, etc. (Atlanta Bombings anyone) for atleast 40+ yrs.

For 4.5 million years, women have selected the alpha male, the man with power, status, and resources. Since you do not know yourself, I will tell you who you are. You are a man, the strongest impulse you feel is to have sex with a woman. Everything that is happening in this world is basically a form of cock-block to prevent you from having sex. Our government taxes us to take away resources from us, and without resources we cannot play the mating game. We are put down or bullied by other men so that we will not assert ourselves or compete with them for females. Very rarely is male-to-male interaction genuine. 99% of the time, one is trying to assert alpha male dominance over the other.

Probably referenced to an after-action when the unexploded devices were found.

I suspect these devices were placed shortly before they were detonated. The surveillance video they talk about could prove that, if we had a time for it. If someone walked around with them, they could avoid the dogs, especially if there was more than one person, and they communicated via cells (conference call), and maybe had a spotter.

Security at big events like this has to be a real nightmare. Many points of entry, tons of people carrying all sorts of things, action, distractions, etc.

Though I hope we don't see more of this, it was pointed out to me that Fiesta (think Texas Mardi Gras, if you aren't familiar), in San Antonio, is next week. I know, from being there in the past, that such an attack there would be a real nightmare. NIOSA alone (Night In Old San Antonio - sort of a huge block party) would be a bad place for an attack. Tons of people, packed in like cattle, literally, with many very drunk....we can only hope they have some MAJOR security for that. Anyone know of other big events coming up? If this is some crazy bomber, any such thing is a potential target.

Posts like this make me laugh.Where's your source? Here we go with crazy claims but yet..nothing to back it up!

The live feed JUST stated they were calling a car to a building to talk to someone that claims to have pics from 15 minutes prior to the explosions. Maybe someone caught something suspicious!
