Pyongyang, April 4 (KCNA) -- A brisk campaign has been conducted across the country in recent years to improve the processes of gluten production with latest science and technology. Gluten is a kind of sweets made from grain and potato starch saccharized with malt or acid. In this regard, Jang Jin Hi, a room chief of the Branch Academy of Light Industrial Science, told KCNA: From ancient times the Koreans had manually made gluten. Kaoliang and maize are mainly used for its making. When preparing gluten, sesame or pepper is mixed as seasoning. The gluten-making had been limited in the country because it was dependent on manual methods. A research group of Pyongyang University of Mechanical Engineering recently succeeded in developing machines needed for streamlining the production of bar gluten at the Pyongyang Cornstarch Factory. It also reconditioned the material-supply system and put the production control process on a computer basis. The innovation made it possible to double the gluten output at the factory. -0-

It is a really interesting look at what the people of NK are getting for news. I figured it was like this but to actually read it is a completely different experience. Sure ... I might end up on someones list for this but I will be checking back here often.

The one thing I say the USA is truly to blame for in our own country and abroad is having become culture-less in regards to diet... This method of dealing with NK by starvation can create a nightmare...

A ceremony of conveying the title took place at the Mansudae Assembly Hall on Saturday. Present there were Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, Ri Yong Sik and Ri Yong Chol, vice department directors of the C.C., the Workers' Party of Korea, Ri Hye Jong, director of the Academy of Social Sciences, Kim Jin Bom, vice-chairman of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries, Ji Sung Chol, vice-director of the Academy of Social Sciences, and officials concerned. Also present there were Director General of the International Institute of the Juche Idea Vishwanath and Director General of the Asian Regional Institute of the Juche Idea Harish Gupta who are directors of the International Institute of Social Scientists, Chairman of the Latin American Institute of the Juche Idea Ramon Jimenez Lopez and Secretary General Eleazar Rubio Aldaran, Chairman of the National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea of Democratic Congo Lohekele Kalonda Andre, Chairwoman of the Kim Jong Suk Women’s Union of Russia Elena Bavichi, delegations and delegates of Juche idea study organizations. Vishwanath made a speech. if they really gave him this "honer" they need to have their heads examined. " He said Kim Jong Un is devoting himself to building a thriving socialist nation with his extraordinary political ability, distinguished leadership and noble traits" so ranting about attacking everyone with nuclear weapons is now considered "political ability , distinguished leadership, and a noble trait"? hmm maybe i should start issuing threats like that every other day, might just win me the Nobel peace prize , me thinks would more likely cause me to be incarcerated or put in the loony bin.

but seriously if this is all that side is hearing, then if we go to war and win they will be in for one hell of a rude awakening. just looking at headlines makes me rather ill, all "good boy" kim jong un, and praises to him., not the wee kimmy whine whine we are all familiar with, that is off his rocker.

The Lil Kim Zombies adore him. Must be all that gluten damage to the brain .. and starvation isn't exactly healthy for the brain either. It's really sad .... what a waste of life ...
