I wrote this poem and made this video as a tribute to my favorite creatures ever, the Daleks. I empathize with them greatly, and sometimes wish my
life was as simple as theirs... to simply kill anything opposing you, rather than being forced to compromise and conform to it, like humanity is
forced to do. I sometimes wish to live in an indestructible shell and hide from the world, and kill anything that gets near me.
I sometimes feel really revolted by certain people... very immoral people. I also constantly feel conflicted, wondering what makes me different from
the people I despise, who are morally, sexually, mentally, and any other way you can think of, tweaked. People who are motivated by racism, sexism, or
simply the happiness that comes with preforming sin. It sickens me.
Daleks are much simpler creatures, and because of all those immoralities, they view humanity (along with anything non-Dalek) as inferior. And I see
humanity the same way they do. For those who don't know, Daleks are creatures from a popular show called Doctor Who, and they are the main
antagonist. They are genetically altered aliens who are engineered to feel almost nothing, except sheer hatred for anything non Dalek. They live
inside a metal shell, equipped with technology we could scarcely imagine, with the ability to fly, withstand any attack including bullets, and to kill
anything in its path.
I sometimes wish to let go of the complicated, conflicting, confusing emotions we humans feel, and leap into the simple life of a Dalek, living only
to kill things that are inferior. That's why my avatar is a Dalek. Not to mention, they are adorable.
I envy you, you beast
Such a life you get
To kill all that you hate
With no thought of regret
You're simple and hardcore
Negotiate? Yeah right
Once the war begins
Do not attempt to fight
For human kind is weak
Daleks will destroy
They live only to kill
Their hatred is their joy
And this, I envy greatly
They will not conform
They don't have to change
To someone else's norm
Humanity's expected
To mold into the shape
Set for them by powers
Pillage, ravage, rape...
Conform, obey, submit
All man kind is ruled
By something almost Dalek
Keeping them all fooled
But our evils are worse
Than anything they are
Driven by our greed
Controlled from afar
And Daleks roam through time
Murdering misdeeds
Emotionless and cold
Without concept of greed
I wish that I may join them
In their reign of power
To abandon my own race
In their final hour
Ashamed of them, I am
Revolted by my kind
I wish to be a Dalek
I wish to free my mind
No worries, thoughts or pain
No concept of mercy
Nothing left to say
I'll kill you all, you'll see
Living in a shell
Indestructible
Oh, you wish to kill me?
Its impossible.
Feeling no emotion
Free from human weakness
Liberated, strong
No more useless meekness
Daleks take no orders
We only follow hate
Anything non Dalek
We exterminate.

Its a metaphor, regarding to my wish to "exterminate" my problems instead of dealing with them.
