Small humanoid creature photographed at Texas gas plant

While when compared to the original full sized photo, the close up is for sure photo-shopped.

Although I really did want it to be a unknown creature.

I wanted the left upper appendage, that so many claimed as an arm,
to be it's "lizard tail" 'cause it looks like it is behind him to me.

I received the following information and image from Ken Pfeifer. It was forwarded to Ken by one of his readers...then sent to me so it could be published:

Nov. 2012 - I was working the night shift on an x-ray crew at a material gas plant. This was around 3 am and there was only four of us in the plant at the time. I took this picture after seeing something swaying side to side out of the corner of my eye. I was in the basket of a man lift coming down when I took the picture. By the time I unhooked my harness to get out of the basket the creature was gone. The police were called and walked premises. The officer told me there were 26 UFO sighting calls throughout that night. If you zoom in you can see the silhouettes of eyes and elongated mouth. I have no doubt of what I believed I seen that night. The other person that saw it with me took off running for the truck.


Followup received from witness:

You can use my name and the picture was taken near Kenedy, TX. I appreciate the quick reply. The picture was even printed in the local newspaper in Kennedy. I had sent the picture to the officer who came to the plant and assume he sent it to the newspaper.

So, now I need to contact this Ken Pfeifer.

I am pretty sure that is a chicken. I have lots of chickens that wander around my house, and sometimes they look like this when they stand up and sort of stretch out their necks a little bit. That is just my first impression, but I could be wrong. It definitely looks to be birdlike in my opinion.

What's more creepy about this picture is the presence of Jigsaw from Saw in the top left.

Either it's an alien that has nothing better to do than roam a deserted and boring job site, or just dudes pranking eachother because it gets boring out there.

Any image that isn't clear should be considered to be a hoax. There needs to be solid proof that this occurred. Multiple photographs in the same setting but at different angles would be sufficient evidence.

Note how the creature is situated in a way to look 'creepy'? This is purposefully done to spark interest. Take this photo with a grain of salt - it's likely to be a hoax.

Regardless, it's always better to reach conclusions based off of the evidence(or a lack thereof), as opposed to reaching conclusions based solely off of the messenger.

According to your questions, yes you do sound like someone that cares! Why ask for evidence about what someone is talking about, they give you that evidence then you make a smart-a$$ remark?
If you are going to ask for information, when it's given either use it or shut up or move along!

With respect, how do we know it is a small humanoid ? There is no sense of scale apparent from the photos.

Could easily be a kid in a mask

with some raggity clothing on.

Looks like a duende to me. Texas is a little far north for the little guy. He must be exhausted.

'Kid'ding aside - good photo OP. The corresponding UFO sightings do add an eerie aspec to this story.

But knowing bored night shift workers like I do - odds are it was a hoax. Sometimes working late night messes with the noggin. We still text guys to come by and bang on the doors when a person stays behind... Working late with a hanger worth of engines can be creepy to some.

looks like small a Sith lord.

Judging from tha hood-lookin' to it's right, back faced towards the camera, left arm and probably right leg bent as if walking away. Thats one creepy looking right arm/claw though.

the shadows on his body seem legit.
