Lasers.......

So I am out checking out laser pointers recently, just curious as to what is available and I see where you can buy 50 mw green lasers for about $250.00 and they claim these things can burn holes through trash bags. Question I have is in the event you were on a plane and a terrorist had a gun couldn't you pretty fry his eyeballs by shining one of these babies into his eyes, basically render him useless in less than the speed of light?

My guess is you won't be accurate enough to hit their eyes and if they discover you,the laser would be no match for their assault rifles

Good luck trying to get on the airplane with one of those. You might be able to explain away a keychain laser (and have it confiscated), but just try getting that thing through X-RAY!

Even the normal red light laser can really mess up your eyes they dont have that warning on them for nothing. I have seen these green lasers before but never heard about them burning through stuff. I was always put of by the price when you compare them to red lasers.

Green lasers seem like a good idea as I think the color green is the easiest color for the human eye to see.
